  It's crystal clear that going from agrarian economy to service lead in case of Ghana indicates that we have languished, peter-out, or been very unsuccessful in our cutlass and hoe model in this twenty first century, digital age.
  
  The questions that beg asking are:
  
  How did we perform in the cutlass and hoe agrarian economy?
  
  Did we mechanized, commercialized, or industrialized in the agrarian economy?
  
  The fact remains that going from agrarian to service lead economy without manufacturing base or industrial is not sustainable, period.
  
  Diversification of the economy is a must but do you think these guys care? Look, they implemented comprehensive address system(streets naming and area codes, etc) on April fools day, and promised to finished it off in eighteen months. We have nine or eight months to the completion date in August or September 2014, but most people don't trust or deem this is a feat Baba God Jamal and John Mahani can achieve.
  
  Their priorities and policies are all screwed up, parliament is now made a toothless bulldog, our constitution's super flawed. However, CRC report is languishing on the shelf gathering dust, and you think these guys care about a transition from agrarian economy to manufacturing/industrial, technology, and service economy?

Looking back, the transitions from an agrarian society to an industrial base to a technology and services economy are clear. Each of these transitions has propelled the world's richest economy to new heights"

  In the shift from agrarian to urban economies, multiple sectors contribute to growth. The share of GDP contributed by agriculture and natural resources shrinks with the expansion of the manufacturing and service sectors, which create jobs and lift incomes, raising domestic demand. On average, each 15 percent increase in manufacturing and services as a portion of GDP is associated with a doubling of income per capita. Owing to lack of manufacturing base, overwhelming majority of Ghanaians don't see and don't feel the much talked about economic growth happening at home. Only very few people benefit from it.
