As captain of the Black Stars, more lasting glory awaits him and his colleagues if they focus on Brazil without any divided attention. What he needs now is to keep himself fit and maintain his form by playing week after week in readiness for Brazil.
  There is so much danger in a move to, say West Ham United. This is a team under the threat of relegation and they expect Asamoah Gyan to save them out. This is a burden that can break Asamoah Gyan down before the world cup. Football is a team work and to expect one player to help avoid relegation is a deadly trap. Gyan will therefore damage his availability for the world cup if he goes to West Ham United.

  Well said. IF Gyan goes to an European league and still performs, it will bring him not only a better reputation than what he has now, but also more money than he is making now. The only thing is it may or may not take time for him to realise these blessings. Being that he is now more confident as a striker, he has a better chance to succeed in a tougher league now than before. also, this will make him a much better player for Ghana as well. SO he really stands to gain especially at this point in his career. He should take the risk and if he works hard will realise this was a better move.
