The only cow in a small town in Kumasi Ghana stopped giving milk. The people did some research and found that they could buy a cow from Burkina Fasso for 2,000 Franks, or one from Bawku for 1,000 Cedis. Being frugal, they bought the cow from Bawku.
The cow was wonderful. It produced lots of milk all the time,and the people were amazed and very happy.
They decided to acquire a bull to mate with the cow and produce more cows like it. Then they would never have to worry about the milk supply again.
They bought a bull and put it in the pasture with their beloved cow. However, whenever the bull came close to the cow, the cow would move away. No matter what approach the bull tried, the cow would move away from the bull and he could not succeed in his quest.
The people were very upset and decided to ask the Veterinary Doctor, who was very wise, what to do. They told the Doctor what was happening; "Whenever the bull approaches our cow, she moves away. If he approaches from the back, she moves forward. When he approaches her from the front, she backs off. An approach from the side and she just walks away to the other side. The Veterinary Doctor thought about this for a minute and asked,
"Did you buy this cow from Bawku?"
The people were dumbfounded. They had never mentioned where they had gotten the cow. "You are truly a wise Doctor. How did you know we got the cow from Bawku?
"The rabbi answered sadly, "My wife is from Bawku."

How funny! "Oba lan jaba" only reminds me of my Middle School days(Lamashegu L.A Middle) in the 60s. That was one of the biggest insults we had at the time as teenagers. I do not know how old you are but that is very nostalgic to me...lol You must be a real Dagbana. Your last name "DIFOYA" means a lot. For public disclosure the late Yaa Naa Yakubu Andani was a personal friend and any time he traveled from Yendi to Accra he resided with us at Madina, and Alhaji Razaque Ziblim and I were personally responsible for making sure his needs are met.

So this faceless fake Azindoo should not hide behind some self seeking bigots to foment another instability in Dagbon, we have had enough of this nonsense and if justice is not served here on earth because of the powers that be at the time of his death,it is believed that who ever was involved in that heinous cruelty /murder would not escape eternal justice.

So Mr. Azindoo if you ever exist as per this pseudonym, brave as you are, just leave Dagbon alone and let us heal. The corrupted and shameless justice system in Ghana is partly responsible for all the nonsense you are spewing out and I do not blame you for that.

To conclude with a heavy heart I wish you and all your cohorts well, but remember that those advocates of violence would go the same way, by total violence. Amen!

It is the responsibility of the state to investigate crime. The state murdered the Yaa Naa in collaboration with their local allies. It had no interest in an efficient investigation. When the tables changed in 2009, no new investigations were conducted. The state was still not interested. It is the State which made the knee jerk arrests and expected illiterates to remember and provide evdence in court.
Tragedy. Betrayal. Gargantuan betrayal. When shall we open our eyes to deal with these money-grabbing beasts we blindly send to parliament and government?
Wake up, Dagbon.
