friends might want to skin you alive, as it has just been demonstrated by princewilly. The truth hurt.
The issue of "knowledge" with its concomitant cousin, "imagination", and their respective relatives, "schooling" and "education", form the basis of the envy and flagrant hatred that our friends, the Togolese Trokosi squatters, harbor for my Kookoase brothers. While most Trokosis Spend several years rummaging and scavenging to acquire knowledge through schooling(only to graduate to become taxpayer's money swindling machines like the Woyomes, Tsatsus and The Abudakpes), their naturally endowed autodidacts and visionary imaginative hard working Kookoase counterparts, employ the skills and knowledge acquire from HOME(the first and most important school of mankind) on the kookoo farms and shoe-shining jobs to climb up the social ladder really so fast. And the fear and apprehension of the Trokosis is that the Kookoase chaps are making good strides in the classroom as well, the area our friends used to accuse us of the lag behind, and which make them feel insecure on the job market because of stiff competition thereof. In his time also, that controversial remark by Einstein got plenty of global attention. This is what he really said:
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
Einstein was mostly likely referring to the process of creativity, especially as applied in theoretical physics, where many facets of the universe were not quite tangible and only existed in the theoretical realm.
It usually takes a lot of creative imagination to engage in the mental steps that would eventually lead to the creation new knowledge.
For instance, his explanation of gravity in terms of deformations of spcace was nothing short of profound imagination, devoid of any prior influence by geometrical principles.
[Incidentally, while mankind still has a long way to go to fully understand how the human brain works, a lot of progress has been made, especially in the areas of learning, memory, and consciousness. The most elusive, and perhaps what would be the last frontier, is CREATIVITY. In neuroscientific terms, it is still a mystery! So far, some scientific evidence points towards some "brain dysfunction" underlying the process we call creativity. Of course, we are nowhere near proving that].
