  Let me tell that the NSA itself is very happy with this state of affairs because it affords them the chance to perpetrate their corrupt deals and enable individuals line their pockets. The NSA itself is nothing but a very gigantic visa racketeering organisation and if i were one of the foreign embassies in this country i would look twice at visa applications submitted by the NSA. Do you think sports can develop when the names of genuine sports men or individuals who want to sacrifice to support Ghana sports have their names struck off visa applications simply because visas have to be sold to those travelling abroad to hustle at between $4000-$5000 per visa. This is a windfall for a poor sports development officer at the NSA who is earning less than GHC800.00 per month. Until the new sports bill which would give some autonomy to the associations to organise their programs like the GFA is doing,let us just forget about the progress and inprovement of the so called lesser sports disciplines.
  Indeed there are people at the NSA benefitting from the status quo who would go all out to ensure the new sports bill does not see the light of the day.
  Do you remember some time last year the dutch embassy refused visas to a Ghanaian team going to Holland to take part in boating and rowing. When did tha NSA organise such a sport in Ghana?

  It would be a waste of time and effort to prepare for any sport,apart from soccer, in Ghana.The Gov't doesn't care,the ministers are damn corrupt,in fact all they think about is lining their pockets.It's a shame.It started way back after Nkrumah.He was the only one who cared.Check the facts.With Ohene Gyan all was right but now everything is in tatters.
