It looks like we are headed towards having KASA at left back. Opare or Afful can play right back or we might have to think about having J. Mensah move out to be a right back with Vorsah and Boye in the middle. A potential starting line up:

GK: Kwarsey
LB: KASA RB: J. Mensah
CBs: Vorsah and Boye

It is not necessary the midfielders to be tried in defence. This really don't help as much. We tried that in 2008 cup of nations in Accra, against cameroon in the Semi finals, and we lost. Michael Essien was made to play at Central defense and it didn't work. we could have beaten them if Essien had been kept at his usual midfield position. Now we are doing the same thing to Kwadwo ASamoah by using him at left wing back or left full back. This isn't working either. Asamoah would be much useful at his usual inside left attacking midfield role. That's where he is at his best. Combining with PRince Boateng, Essien, Muntari, Ayew or Atsu will be a deadly force. Now, back to your idea, we can have a strong solid defense if Akaminko is shifted to right full back, keep Opare at the left full back with Boye and Jonathan Mensah at central defense will be rock solid. All that we are asking God is for these guys to remain healthy and match fit like how they should be. AMEN.

From all indications, Til June the Proximo is here, God's desk would be full of 'victory' applications thru Jesus Christ His son. God has not too much of time available that is perhaps why He has channeled all grievances thru his Son.

I think the issue to me is that I do not see Essien starting. I would start Rabiu Mohammed as the defensive midfielder. The second question is do you start KPB instead of Warris? I do not think so. I think KPB is coming off the bench.

I think Essien is going to be a sub who comes in as a defensive mid when the game needs to be slowed down. I do not see him as a starter. He is a senior stabalizer. Sort of like Appiah in the 2010 WC.
