First, Rawlings can at least learn how to be a gentleman. He doesn't need to roar like a lion in preaching about the ills of corruption. He can pontificate and sermonize about corruption and still be a gentleman doing that.

Secondary, Mr Probity and Accountability Rawlings has lost his relevancy in Ghanaian politics especially on the issue of morality and on corruption especially when he Rawlings, his family and friends looted Ghana during his almost twenty years rule.

An armed robber cannot preach against pick pocketing and expect to get an audience to accept his message or get kudos for a good job done. Rawlings was an "armed robber" with a license

It is very sad that people who should be role models in this country for the youth, should stoop so low because Kufour has made them cheat Ghanaians for all these years. Who is Kufour for a man like Jerry Rawlings to learn from, as this man is telling us/him? These are the dangerous opportunists among us who are making it diificult for us to move forward. Asuma Banda is a hypocrite and a traitor. After benefiting a lot from Jerry Rwalings´ government, he turned his back to the party and joined hands with Kufour. Where was he when Kufour was buying hotels, selling government properties and pocketing the money? What respect has Kufour? I would give that respect to the dogs instead. Was he not one of his wise men at the time? We know of the hugh tax he has failed to pay to mother Ghana. What is it hat Jerry could learn from a thief and a tribal bigot like Kufour? Banda, please tell us! wouldn´t Ghana have been a better place without divisive people like you this man who can not even prevent your children from criminal activities? I wonder if president Mahama has complain to him about the former president´s admonishing. Just yeaterday, the Andanis took on this man and told him to shut up? What did he do when Kufour spearheaded the killing of the Yaa Naa and his people? These are the things among us. True Christians have a hero they call the savior in Jesus Christ while true Muslims call their teacher the Prophet Muhammed. However our societal dictates and accepted norms for creating modern day heroes are as fickle as can be. Mighty military institutions see heroism in murderers as long as conflicts are called wars justifying murderous acts. Suicide bombers are called heroes by their puppet-masters who are nothing more than hypocritical cowards engaged in sending children to their deaths as they continue to live and enjoy the lives they claim to be miserable because of their enemies. In Africa, we have not grown much brain cell tissues from the day we were introduced to "Christianity" or principles of ultra-greed. Because of this slow maturation process amongst Africans, those of us in Ghana continue to accept notions of political criminal activities of one party as moral equivalency of criminal and or murderous activities of another political party.
These warped ideas of comparative analysis and conclusions thus allows Ghanaians and other nations in Africa to believe that murder, abuse of power, siphoning off money, mineral and natural resources of independent African nations states is normal or accept unless some World body/entity or civilized Western nation says otherwise. Kufour is a thief, a liar and a traitor but some Ghanaians do not see it because he is the darling of some world body/entity. It is the same world body that sad idly by as the Hutus and Tutsi killed each other as they debated when to call mass killings genocide. Rawlings in a murderer and a thief but was a darling of the world body/entity that saw his actions beneficial for the pursuit of a democratic Ghana.
If through classroom education and the collection of PhD's and a million masters degrees Ghanaians (and or Africans) cannot formulate what is morally acceptable societal norms then the Rawlings versus Kufour comparative analysis will continue because Ghanaians fail to know core moral values of human beings.
