Dr Sekou Nkrumah said it but in a manner unpalatable to the presidential spin doctors. Please let us all help the First Citizen get this right.He already has a lot on his plate.
How can we help the President when the clueless people around him will shoot down any advise or constructive criticism you put accross? They don't listen and the problem is they are driving us all and the economy into a ditch ...

A good Speechwriter is important but when the man fronting the speech is lacking the ability/competence to deliver on those speeches (irrspective of how good they are) then that is the real crying shame.
If it "were"...looks like I need a Speechwriter too.
