I just can't stand everyhting about his appearnce and behaviour as a president. I think a high school prefect with the right advisors can act better. Well said Cardinal - he keeps playing on the intelligence of those who voted that immature leader. In effect, he doesn't rule them alone, all the bloody opposition is ruled by him.

Mahama is just fascinated to have a tax payers' presidential jet at his disposal and he is just hop nobing with the rich and famous. He has no substance and that is why he sees nothing wrong with spending Christmas in Dubai of all places. His grinning balcony pictures with the Prime Minister of the UAE is as pathetic as the one he took In front of the CNN logo in Atlanta.

The organisation has been institutionalised and deceived many with half-truths. All the medical advancement and the publication from the so called faithful slave, is based in a developed world where all the practicalities of what they tell the congregation exists. The men who made you believe the Jah prohibits blood transfusion does not know the Jah, they talk about except glorification of what they think is right, supported with biblical contexts. Even the devil can use the bible to deceive. No wonder millions of JWs has made unknowingly to them the organisation or society 'a god' which must be served and obeyed at all costs. Jehovah, the God they seem to adore is watching because to me, Jah is placed second to the society. If you pause, pray, reason and do your research well, Jah will open your heart to know who He really is. I have been there bro. I believed and trusted what I read and learnt but when I came across the Jehovah I have thought to know, He became first and the organisation second. This didn't go well upon reasoning to those following the society blindly. I am a health professional and knows more about transfusion. It is true, there is no guarantee that whoever receives blood can live forever or be saved instantly. What Jah created is life, not meant to be destroyed. Whatever you may have thought, I would not advise that woman to refuse the transfusion for religious reasons. Her refusal does not give her outright salvation for doing obeisance to religious belief which is thought God approves. PRAY, PRAY, AND PRAY FOR JEHOVAH TO GUIDE YOU TO REASON WHITHOUT RELYING SOLELY OF WHAT MEN BELIEFS TO BE EXPECTED FROM GOD. GOD IS LOVE. IF PEOPLE CAN TASTE AND SEEK FOR HIM INSTEAD OF SOME INSPIRATION, APPROVAL, GUIDANCE AND WITNESS FROM MEN, THEY WILL REALISE HE IS A SIMPLE, EASY TO APPROACH AND A LOVELY SUPERNATURAL BEING.

The President did not only attempt to insult the intelligence of Ghanaians, but he demonstrated his own level of intelligence with that infantile explanation. Anybody who has the most basic knowledge about Dubai knows that Christmas is the time most westerners who run 99% of the businesses in Dubai return home to be with family. So which "technical people" did he meet, the Indian and Bangladeshi labourers on the construction sites?

At the same function he hanged himself by claiming that sitting in a meeting at which the main topic of discussion was his brother's inability to repay a huge loan that was threatening the very existence of a national bank, did not amount to "conflict of interest."

Habah, which school did this president attend? So why did his brother not service the loan after the meeting? Whose interest did he represent there? It does not require rocket science to understand why Oman Ghana is in such a sorry state!

My dear friend Sarpong, you seem to contradict yourself. Were you not the same person who argued sometime ago that it was ok for the President to appoint friends and tribesmen because it was what he promised during his campain? so why is it an issue now? I have always maintained that all appointments to government positions should be based on merit based on qualifications, expertise and experience without regard to friendship and tribe.

Secondly, your opening statement clearly states that the president has the right to a vacation, when he takes it, where he goes is his progrative, so why is his trip to Dubai an issue? I thought he did the right thing by responding to the concerns of Ghanaians over the trip by explaining his reason(s) for the trip and choice of destination. Should we not accept the President's explanation at face value without second guessing him?

Komla, there is no contradiction here. Mahama can appoint all his other 18 brothers and sisters as far as I am concerned if they can do thei the job they are appointed to and that is my argument here. The fact that I don't care about the tribal composition of his appointments does not mean he should appoint idiots and imbeciles who don't know what the hell they are doing.

Komla, exactly my position. I have never advocated for anybody to appoint any yahoo to positions where they are going to have problems in discharging their duties due to lack of expertise.
