The families of the generals he killed without due process, should petition the ICJ and have him prosecuted for human rights abuse. Although he claims those generals were killed for corruption, he is yet to show us what properties or wealth these generals jacquired illegally for them to be killed. Rawlings is a liar, a murderer and a psychopath, and I am also glad he is having an incurable sleepless nights. May those he killed continue to torment his miserable soul.

Kufuor appointed some shady deputy ambassadors to India who forged documents and cheated Ghana government of millions of dollars in rice deal. The Indian press honed in but relaxed with expectation that Ghana Government would tackle the issue since such crime, committed on their soil was perpetrated by diplomats. Investigation revealed that such deputy ambassadors involved were also British citizens.
Had Kufuor checked with due diligence Ghana would have been saved millions of dollars stolen from them by these thieves.
Unfortunately they roam about the country riding in the most expensive cars and living in luxury, seeking more prey. Where is the BNI ? Where is the law ? Where is leadership ? Rawlings is right ...absolutely right because it is rotten from President to President. None is working good for the country. They see things but turn heads aside. Let me tell you something. If you will want to know about Rawlings and what he did to Ghana please do not pay attention to what the NDC supporters say to you or what you read from the NDC anywhere. Just research on the internet and find out about the causes of the June 4th 1979 Revolution led by JJ Rawlings and do the same thing to the 31st January Revolution led by JJ Rawlings and the benefits and the woes it had on Ghanaians. Compare the causes of those Revolutions to that of the current NDC government and weigh them yourself to see if you will not be tempted to call for coup in Ghana today?
Let me tell you a little bit before the June 4th uprising. Before the June 4th uprising,the Ghana Government was under the same military rule.The military rule was first of all was General IK Acheampong who overthrew the Busia administration which was the Ghanaian second republic. This military leader ruled forsometime,embarked on operation feed yourself program to feed Ghanaians. The program worked for a while and this man messed up because he will not yield to the country's cry for an election and hand over power to a popular government elected by Ghanaians. He Gen. Acheampong rather decided to form a Union government comprised of the Military and civilians. Some too known readers can add up to what Gen. Acheampong Wanted to do with the Union Government. During the referendum, the Acheampong's Unigov was loosing and as a result he sacked the electoral commission Justice Abban. Acheampong replaced the electoral commission with his favorite who turned the election around in Acheampong's favor and the Unigov won. The Supreme Military council was replaced the Acheampong's NRC government. I earlier told you that Gen. Acheampong Messed up but because of space and time, I cannot include his mess in this article,you can research that yourself. There was a palace coup somewhere along the line whereby Gen Acheampong. was replaced by Gen FWK Akuffo who was made the Head of State of Ghana, the SMC 2 was formed. Gen Akuffo also messed up. Researched about the Gen Akuffo's Government and its mess. Then all of a sudden un unknown arm officer by name JJ Rawlings with the help of some notorious armed officers including Boakye Gyan overthrew the Gen Akuffo's Government. But remember that Rawlings was in jail for attempting to overthrow the Akuffo's Supreme Military Council, but Boakye Gyan and some of the junior military officers paid attention to the Rawlings nonesense he gave during the trial. He deserved to die but this military bastards released him from the cells, overthrew the Akuffo Government and brought JJ Rawlings topower as the Head of state of Ghana for three months and hand over power to a democratically elected president in the name of President Liman. At the inception of power, the Rawlings led military junta killed three former heads of states including Akuffo who he overthrew, Gen Acheampong, Gen AA Afrifa who was a retired former Head of state of Ghana. The Rawlings led Government instituted a house cleaning exercise. With the house cleaning exercises, companies and individuals who owed the Ghanaian government unpaid taxes were forced to pay the money they owed. But let me tell you that their aim was to rob traders of their wealth. It was a plan to rob there traders because they were the only entity that has the money available to be robbed. During the robbing the even killed traders including pregnant women. The army called on the students of Ghana to help evacuate the cocoa in the hinterland that were-locked due to poor transportation to bring the cocoa to the harbor for transportation to harbor. A lot of Ghanaians saw this as a good effort from the AFRC government led by JJ Rawlings. Some people called him Junior Jesus.There months later the Rawlings government hang over power to the Liman Government which was the third republic of Ghana. When Liman took over power he asked the Rawlings to show him the records of all the tax money the AFRC government collected during the AFRC era. That money was shared among the AFRC government. Rawlings became offended with the help of other notorious army officers including Agyei Boadi staged another Coup to removed the Liman administration on charges of curroption. Liman asked rawlings to give accounts on the moneys he collected from ghanaians and the cocoa they collected from the hinterland, the answer Liman got was removal from office. Rawlings could not put Liman on trial.He kept liman on house arrest until the time he want and released him. He ruled Ghana for almost twenty years. His government was a uninon government which Gen. Acheampong has proposed to Ghanaias which was rejected. But because of the mudering and the army officers dubbed Wobeyera,wo maame were behow, wo papa wer3 b3how. After ruling the nation for about twelve years as a military, rawlings put the military uniform away and formed the NDC Government. He ruled for eight years rigging elections after elections to manipulate Ghanaians well educated politicians who could have done extremely better than what Rawlings offered Ghana. Because of constraints of time, I cannot elaborate on the atrocities of JJ Rawlings from June 4th 1979 and to the time handed overpower to Kuffour. Even he had wanted to contest Kuffor in order to become the life president of Ghana but God said no to Rawlings. All that has been written about Rawlings about the sale of the Nsawam Canary, the sale of the continental hotel,the UTC scandal and son and so forth is true. The man has done a lot of harm to Ghanaians than any previous government. He seizet the 50 cedi not from the Ghanaians that was in circulation and pocketed all the money. Because of that my mother has vowed not to put her money in the bank till she die. He is a racist, he is the only government who coined the phrase "this is the Akan party", a whole president. He give people names. He called Akuffo Addo the Dwarf man. But let me tell you that Akuffo Addo has a father which common sense Ghanaians saw and knew. But JJ Rawlings do not know his father up till now. Oye Asawo pikin, he knows about it. Please research on the impact of the Rawlings led atrocities on the people of Ghana.You may not even know how much this Mahama led NDC government is paying JJ Rawlings behind closed doors. Who lose?????????? MOTHER GHANA. Long live Ghana, long live the traders, farmers, teachers, nurses, the Agric folks, the miners, the fishermen and the rest that toil day in and day out to help mother Ghana to survive. I do not include the army because they are the agents of the devil that has led Ghana to the bottom of the ladder, JJ will not have sleepless nights only but a time will come when he will publicly apologize to the families of innocent people he has murdered. May God reign forever and ever.

Awonoor said the so called revolution was staged to stop Akan, especially the Ashantis from dominating the commerce of Ghana and redistribute the resources of the country equitably. That sounds to me like a Dictator in North Korea and not a Democratic country like Ghana.

The only legacy your "armed robber" left for Ghana is the tribal divide between Asantes and Ewes.

So tuition for 6 years for 4 students at any good-standing college or university in the Western countries for foreign students will be more than a million dollars. Factor in food, board and personal needs (clothing, toiletries, transportation, etc) for 6 years for 4 foreign students and were are well beyond 1 million. Consider also another adjustment - one of the Rawlings kids studied Medicine which takes longer, about 8 years. Medical school also costs more in the Western countries (UK, USA). You were too conservative with your computation.

I was very upset yesterday about his statement that it was necessarily needed to have executed the senior military officers in 1979 to save the country from implosion. A position I strongly disagree with, the killings were un necessary, and unjustified. Now that a case of corruption can be proven against him, is it therefore not necessary for him to to be executed? Mr. Rawlings has some serious issues and I don't know how we are going to deal with his issues as a nation.
