Kwasi Nyantekyi, like most Ghanaian leaders, operate only where the money is at, that is, international competitions... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LOCAL LEAGUE????... Do you see him doing anything to make it work better? NO!!! BECAUSE THERE IS NO MONEY TO POCKET THERE...GNPC is NOT a stand alone profitable business... Every money GNPC has is government revenue, collected from the oil companies on behalf of the Ghanaian people... So, how come THEY ARE NOT using the oil money to better the lives of Ghanaians, and let other foreign entities pay for the sponsorship?

I total agree with you, until he turn the local league around he has not accomplish anything yet.

Some people want him to rule forever because of the Black Star appearances in the world cup.

The problem with our national league is bigger than what you guys are thinking. Matter of fact, it's number one enemy is the economy. It's a no job, no money syndrome. 2). It take much money to run a soccer team. You plan well to invest and it yields increase later. Tell me, what kind of planning do our club owners do? Do they really invest anything at all? Which Ghanaian team sells paraphernalia and even if they do who'll buy? What's the motivation for wearing a club like Aduana's shirt? Nothing to be precise and if fans are not motivated enough why should you expect sponsorship? Our current league sponsors are the same that sponsors the Kenyan league but Ghana gets by far a low package, have you thought of why? If team owners will enter into partnership, buy better players, pay them well, plan good marketing strategy, create a very good program during and after league season, the fortune of the said team will change in less than 4 years. If all our clubs have such mentality, it'll lead to better league with a better sponsorship. There's very little the GFA can do in this case. 1). Reduce the premier league membership to 12. 2). Each team should have x and x amount in it's account, general player salary base line or scale etc etc, that's the way forward. There's no short cut or magic anywhere.

Kwesi Nyantekyi has done little or nothing about youth soccer development since taking office. He has only successfully mobilized to fruition what others have sown in the past. He himself has not fixed anything in this regard ...

He himself has not fixed anything in this regard. Under 17 has never qualified for the youth world tournament under his watch. He has failed. How much does it cost to build an academy for every region? After two world cups nothing has changed in Ghana soccer for the better rather for the worst.

What did others sow for Nyantakyi to mobilized to fruition since he came to power in 2005? Compare our league in 2005 and now. The league was in shambles at that time, that is not to say it's very good now, it isn't but has seen much progress than then. For youth soccer, we've not won anything because they've moved from the era of we being represented by old men. I doubt we'll win anything in the youth section in a very long time but the FA's stance will lead to a better senior national team. Isn't that the number one goal for FIFA and all? If your father never told you, youth academies are built by individual organization, not the national football association.

Whereas I agree that Nyantakyi is the best GFA chairman since God knows when, I think there is still room for his improvement. Here are some areas that need improvement
1. Investment is the local league so that Ghanaian teams can maintain good players and win continental and intercontinental laurels
2. Development of a oyuth league which genuinely monitor the age of the player and weed out overage players
3. Branding of Ghana's soccer
4. MOnitoring doubious scouts and agents who send Ghanaian player into servitude

Kwesi Nyantekyi managed to take Ghana to the dreamland of soccer lovers. He has really achieved a lot. If he does not get proud (I believe he will not)then he will go very far indeed. Well Done Kwesi.

Indeed, he has surpassed every other football administrater in Ghana by qualifying Ghana for the world cup thrice. However, he needs to turn his attention to building a strong football industry at home. An industry that will create jobs for the youth, football administraters and experts.
