Equally, a responsible law of the state would have cleared all ambiguities that will be creating atmosphere of unsubstantial accusations.advocator talking like this??? wow

  HE RAPED THE LITTLE GIRL.THE MORONIC COURT SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED THE OTHER KIDS WHO WERE PRESENT DURING THE ALLEGED CRIME TO BE INTERVIEWED AND RECORDED BY THE POLICE, PROSECUTORS, AND THE DEFENCE IF THE COURT FELT THEY WERE TOO YOUNG TO GO TO COURT.SECONDLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHATEVER FLUID FOUND IN THE CHILD SHOULD HAVE BEEN TESTED TO ASCERTAIN WHAT IT WAS AND WHERE IT CAME FROM.SINCE THEY FAILED TO DO ANY OF THESE TO CONCLUSIVELY PROVE A CRIME WAS COMMITTED AND BY THE CONVICTED MAN, THEY HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO HOLD HIM.THEY CONVICTED A MAN ON AN ALLEGATION OF A NINE YEAR OLD WITHOUT ANY COLLABORATING EVIDENCE OR WITNESSES WHICH TO ME IS JUST NOT ACCEPTABLE.IF OUR AUTHORITIES WANT TO REALLY PROTECT OUR CHILDREN THEN THEY NEED TO START DEALING WITH THE PEDOPHILIA SEX TOURISTS WHO HAVE BEEN FLOCKING GHANA TO ENGAGE IN THEIR NEFARIOUS ACTIVITIES.FOR GOD'SAKE THEY EVEN RECORD AND DISPLAY THEIR ACTIVITIES WITH OUR KIDS ON LINE.WHAT ARE THE AUTHORITIES DOING ABOUT THAT??????

  A woman woke in the middle of the night to find her husband missing from their bed. She got out of bed and checked around the house. She heard sobbing from the basement. After turning on the light and descending the stairs, she found he husband curled up into a little ball, sobbing.
  "Honey, what's wrong?" she asked, worried about what could hurt him so much.
  "Remember, 15 years ago, I got you pregnant, when you were 16? ...And your father threatened me to marry you or to go to jail?"
  "Yes, of course," she replied.
  "Well, I would have been released tonight."

  Bad, Bad the girl’s parents would have had enough to provide TV for their own children to avoid a girl becoming a victim of rape because she visited somebody’s room to watch TV. Equally, a responsible law of the state would have cleared all ambiguities that will be creating atmosphere of unsubstantial accusations. Everyone is just a victim in this very case.

"
  
  Yet the same judge will not have any scruples to convict a 17 y.o. boy to stay on remand with grown-Ups for one year and longer in police cells.
  Are Ghanian judges normal ??

  It's amazing the kind of punishment meted out for some crimes in this country. Can't we adopt other forms of punishment such as fines, community service and others for such little crimes like stealing fowl, goat, farm produce and co instead of the state spending money looking after the convicted in jail? A person steals a fowl, and they sentence him to 7yrs in prison; someone steals a goat, and he is sentenced to 10yrs in prison, some girl claimed she's been raped and you sentence this guy to 15yrs in prison. We are all just pretending not to know that nine yr old girls in this country have boyfriends.

  It is very pathetic reading this story.Having said this, it is not the first case, and it will not be the last case in a similar manner.There are thousands of innocent Ghanaians out there languishing in jail for offenses they did not commit. Sometimes I wonder if we have any law in Ghana at all! These unscropulous so called idiots and incompetents police fully supported by these corrupt judges or whatever they called themselves, sad dowm to destroy the life of innocent Ghanaians.Who check these fools in the first place? The time will come when their end will come. They should immediately release the poor guy without delay. What is htis that we are witnessing in this country? I prayed this guy comes out and eliminate this little girl and the mother! What nonsense is this!

  This is disgraceful state of affairs. With all the lawyers we have in Ghana I am very disappointed they aren't doing far more to clean up the system to ensure every Ghanaian has the right to justice!
