Sarpong the Illiterate, you have done well this time by noticing the significance of Flt Lt Rt JJ Rawlings outburst on some of the ministers in Government who are meant to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Now if JJR does not play such role to publicly lambaste and criticize thieves and incompetent ministers, who in Ghana is going to do that? But in any way I must say you are spot on to give credence to the man who liberated Ghana or more critically, to put it right, you are right to put a shine on the role JJR plays occasionally in our fledgling democracy. To that, I willfully agree with you.
Now to your point on the road and transport minister's assertion, I think you've taken it out of context to mean something else.
My advice to you is to analyse his statement well with a better response than what you've put up here which does not really tally.

I hate such insults to fellow Ghanaians or to other australopithecus, on mother Planet!! Hope you have heard it!!! Our sensible and logical criticism and sense of appreciation of innovative ideas can be done without going the stone age!! Same insults were made to a genuine criticism to the vexacious and hollow arguments of the infamous 2012 Election Petition by someone oneday!! The person asked why and how was the ballot papers not put into the equation, such that the ballot papers could be re-counted and that the statement "you and I were not there when the mistake happened " was sufficient and contrary to someone who wants to be a principal eye-witness!! After we all deciphered the full report of the glorious Supreme Court, we all now know and understand where the problem of the defeated NPP were and still are!! Knowledge is too huge for anyone of us to claim a perfect hold on!! We should all learn to be humble enough!!

Come on, how can you be so naive. The minister was commissioning repaired road in a gated community. His suggestion was to other gated communities. Roads in gated communities such as the university of Ghana are private roads. The UG uses it's own resources to construct and repair their roads. If you visit the Parakou estate at Domi you will be appaled by the state of the roads. Public funds will not be used in repairing these roads because they are private roads .

You are an idiot. What gated community? The Minister was rather commenting on the University of Ghana intention of charging cars that drive through the campus of Legon.
Moron, even if he was commissioning a road at a gated community, it does not make any difference because in Ghana, the only authority that can collect tolls is the Executive branch of government through Parliamentary approval so the Minister who is also a Parliamentarian has shown that, he doesn't even understand the basic laws of the country.

The loose talking "bottom power girl" did even know the subjects she studied in university, but she was waved through. As a result, we have child molesters, certificate forgers, embezzlers, wife beaters, liars and crooks, all holding positions in Ghana.
How can a minister open his mouth and say "repair roads and charge tolls?" In effect, those "volunteers" who repair pot-holed roads in our communities can mount barriers and begin to charge tolls. That is how really dumb that statement was. And to think that the President is still grinning for ear to ear (as he did at CNN) about it says a lot about the state of Ghana today!
