These guys do not have what it takes to rule the country, simple. No wonder the Late Prof. Mills because of his ill-health was not performing. To the writer of this article, I say you are very misinformed. In the developed countries, most toll roads are privately owned for example the George Bush freeway. Even in Ghana you have the George Bush Highway. The Fund for it, was not from the Ghana government..There is nothing wrong with a private sector in the community to come up with money and plan to fix roads and impose tolls on it. We cannot depend only on the government to do all developmental work to our nation. In the Upper West Region we have a lot of contractors who can team up and fix our roads. With the collaboration of the government, they should be allowed to impose tolls on the roads: as long as they are fixing and maintaining the roads. How long can we wait to depend on the government to fix all our roads. If the opportunity is there for a privately own company to take the initiative, I believe the government should support the idea just as it did with the George Bush highway. I believe Ghanaians are very satisfied anytime they drive on it. The tolls charged goes to the cost and maintenance of it. Wake up and wise up.
