  I READ THE RESUMES AND THE PRESENTATIONS BY ALL THE CANDIDATES AND MY TAKE IS THAT THE WINNING CANDIDATE HAD INSIDE EXPERIENCE IN THE WTO THAN MR. KYEREMANTENG AND HIS PRESENTATION WAS BRIEF THAN THAT OF OUR CANDIDATE MR. KYEREMANTENG. WITHOUT PREJUDICE, I WOULD CHOOSE THE CANDIDATE THAT WON DUE TO HIS PRESENTATION AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT WTO. THERE ARE THAT MANY AFRICANS ON THE WTO AND EVEN IF ALL VOTED FOR HIM, STILL OUR CANDIDATE WOULD NOT WIN.

  Make no mistake about it. All insiders will also tell you. Alan Kyerematen was one of the least qualified of the 11 candidates that sought for that job. This has nothing to do with lack of unity. The two topmost candidates in the last round were miles better than Alan on every point. They had far more experience in the field than Alan. And they also had the support of the countries that really matter in the WTO.
  
  Even if the other African candidates had withdrawn in favour of Alan, he would still have been chucked out first.
  
  People in the know said that the election process was extremely transparent and one of the best men got the job. And he was not Alan. Period. Ghanaians could make a lot of noise about Alan but he was simply not better than the guy who won.

Kuunifaa , Alan did well and you must acknowledge that. He is just good. You must come again. Those NDC people saying he was the least qualified for the job, which of their trade ministers can be compared to Alan? Hanna Tetteh or Haruna Iddrisu? You people should give us a break.

  If Alan cash could not manage cassava farm at bawjiase in ghana, what are the chances that he can steer the affairs of a world organization like the WTO? It is only in ghana that he can try to influence the poor with cash for votes but WTO is a different ball game. He was simply not fit for that WTO position.

  His sour losing tantrums at the NPP leadership contest could not have escaped the international community. And of course, there was the dubious Alan Cash thing. Where did he get all that money to splash around?

  Disunity was not the reason why he lost, period.
  Of course, Alan is a good man, and if he were to contest for same position with only Nana Akuffo Addo, it might have turned out to be otherwise.
  The competition , I believe will give some notes and or make him come to terms with lessons learnt to improve upon the next time he is to contest for a similar position.

  Even supporters of NPP who knew the ins and outs of the WTO job knew Alan was not better than the rest of the field. This had nothing to do with politics. After all, Alan had the full support of Mahama and, thus, Ghana.

  The other African countries even were angry that Ghana was putting up a candidate when we already had our "fair" share of international posts. Alan himself knew he was going to lose and that the other candidates had better credentials.

  Keep on being intellectually lazy. Instead of being objective and assessing Alan Kyeremanteng's failure to land the WTO post you as usual decided to play the party card. Continue blaming others and you will always be at the bottom of all competitions. Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Dr Arthur Kennedy, Dr Wereko-Brobby and others told you to seriously assess your party's failure to win the past 2 elections but you instead indulged in insulting and telling lies about them. A word to a wise is enough.
