Ghanaians don't need effective political propaganda as this Cletus guy is suggesting. What Ghana needs is a can do President whose achievements will shine like christmas light that needs no illuminant to be seen. If the President is effective, his deeds wilk show and will not need any propaganda machine.

We have the two deputy Ministers of Information, Ofosu Kwakye and Murtala, Clement Apaak and others at the Presidency who have been doing the Spokesman job for the President.

We have more than 600 people working at the Presidency and instead of cutting the deadwoods hanging around the Presidency as Presidential Advisors, we are still adding people at Flagstaff house despite the budget deficit.

Important National issues are either given political colours or tribalised. Kuffour did it; it was not good so Mahama should also do it. But that is not my point anyway. My point is that allowances for trainees nurses,teachers etc have been cut because of the huge budget deficits and what you can suggest is more funding for government propaganda machinery. I hope that puts food on the table of the family you have left behind in Ghana. Are you real? Can you think beyond politics and tribe and be objective for once? OMG that is what mother Ghana is getting back from some of you after the free education eh?

If this writer,Cletus Kuunifaa thinks that the appointment of Malor is justifiable, because he's the one that can sharpen the so called "political propaganda machinery" ( I beg his insult!!! ), then the president should have first SACKED those who couldn't do the "propaganda" bidding nonsense for him before appointing Malor. Suppose Malor also fails -which is possible because there's no guarantee of "propadanda" success- will the president still fish for, yet another propaganda expert while maintaining all the failed propagandists?

People, including Pro. Okoampa Ahoofe couldn't extrapolate logic from the president's appointment of malor, so they reserved the natural right to assign any reason within a reaching distance to make sense of that suspicious appointment. In this case if people realized that the president's office is congested with his own kind, the best description will definitely be "ethnic nepotism". What else will make much sensible?

The best "propagada machinery" will be the president's ideas, and his ability to make it practicable on the ground. It'll speaks volumes for itself and even save Ghana some money to hire basically a "liar" to use rhetoric to deceive the electorates.

We live in era of discerning, so those achaic political gimmick like "propaganda" dissipated with the Stone Age. Pres. Mahama has proven he's a failure, and a waste of Ghanaians' time: we need somebody that can move Ghana forward with practically verifiable progress/development, not rhetorics!!
