  I have also received tons of private emails regarding these series, particularly this one, Part 3. I shall follow it up with more write-ups.
  
  In fact, I wrote this particular essay for a shadowy character who called him/herself "Pinnuci" (See Part ll of this series). He/she ignorantly raised issues against Part ll. I HOPE YOU ARE NOT THE ONE.
  
  I enjoy it when people take me on with hard facts and not hide behind monikers to propagate ignorance and falsehoods. Why don't you take issue with my essay and hold me accountable not in the comment section but in the form of an essay, publicly published for all to read?
  
  This is how I like to engage serious critics. Don't just say "hot air" or "who cares" and run away. You have said nothing. Serious critics don't just fart in the secrecy of their toothless mouths and simply run away.
  
  Again, you have said practically nothing. Say something, even if you disagree with me. At least Nii Ashitey and Ato Williams said something. Just say what they have said but the opposite. And let's see what happens.
  
  Don't be a coward. Take me on!

  One thing about Amiri Baraka is that he is controversial. As leader of the Black Panther movement who believed in the pan African movement, he occupied a space left by his less militant brothers and sometimes he was impatient with them. The situation on the ground demanded a more radical approach than was being adopted then, hence his flowery language sometimes.
  
  Having metamorphosed from Leroy Jones to his African roots, a name intended to signal a complete rejection of white culture he took on a new dimension. His Black panther movement carried on with the struggle to make the life of the black man better. But his image of most of the American media remained framed frozen as the Afro-wearing black power militant of the late sixties and early seventies, the "snarling laureate of Negro revolt"As the times magazine described him.
  
  I am glade that time has completely deconstructed that image and he is being put in his right historical frame. Francis Kwarteng and other Scholars are righting the wrong impression of Amiri Baraka especially after his death .Long may his rehabilitation continue.

You can not sit in Ghana and say any foolish thing you want. Do you know why Kwame Nkrumah said , Idependence of Ghana is meaningless unless is link with the total rebration of Africa. Why did say that. Don't write any foolish thing you dont understand just for writing sake. Bush is the only president in America history who hold three diffieren degrees. Such for ti yourself and stop your nonosense.

  Anyway, former US Prseident, Jimmy Carter, says George W. Bush is the "worst in history." Read the article "Bush Is 'the Wrst in History' in Foreign Relations, Carter Says" at:

  And Americans generally agree with Jimmy Carter. In fact, the whole world does. With all his three degrees do he's recognized as the "worst in history." So, you see, my brother or sister, degrees are not everything.
  
  Finally, Amiri Baraka, one of the WPRLD'S greatest and most prolific writers of the 20th century DID NOT HAVE A SINGLE DEGREE. Read it again: Amiri Baraka did not have a single degree. Bush could never write any of the books he wrote.

  Finally, send me an email (franciskkwarteng@yahoo.com) and shall give you references to well-placed sources (publications, journals, etc) as to who made most of the decisons for him as President. Most Americans know about this. You will not mention three ot twenty degrees afer that.

  I have just told you that Amiri Baraka did not have a single degree yet he's been ranked as one of the world's most prolific and influential writers of the 20th century!
  
  Did you read that? Don't we have PhDs (in English) here on Ghanaweb who have not achieved a tenth of what Amiri Baraka achieved in life as far as the literary world is concerned?
  
  You are obviously confusing "intelligence," number of degrees, and education. The three are not the same.
  
  Bush doesn't even have three degrees, to start with (correct me if I am wrong). And he will not have been admitted into Yale and Harvard if not for his family background. Do a little research into his SAT scores (High-school test scores) to see if he should have qualified to enter City University of New York, let alone Harvard or Yale. This is what Wikipedia says about his education:
  
  "He characterized himself as an average student. His average during his first three years at Yale was 77 and he had a similar average under a nonnumeric rating system in his final year."
  
  Bush was a C student throughout his academic career. If your were in America during the presidential elections, you would have realized how the media made fun of his poor academic showing in school.
  
  You and I may have done far better than him in high school but Yale or Harvard may not have admitted because we lack his family connections (read more about his grandfather to see what he did for Yale then you will understand what I have been saying).
  
  Bush reminded a group of students at his alma mater (Yale University). He said:
  
  "To the C students, I say, 'You too can be president of the United States,"' Bush said at the 300th commencement of Yale University.

  Don't confuse number of degrees with education. They are not the same. Like I said before, Amiri Baraka had no degree but was a better thinker and successful writer than most of Ghanaian PhD English holders.
