  To cement his hold on his job, he simply employs "okurase nii inferior tactics" to fastened his grips at the job by being a low bootlicker homosexual ass-hole! A method that pleases his inept government and president!

Currently the U.S. is waging many wars and instigating others. So if there is any war lord that person is Barack Obama. The real international community has witnessed failure of U.S. interventions all over the world. The U.S. has no morality to tell people how to behave anymore and the same apply to those who make ugly noise from there including you Ahoofe.

  1. Reminding a fellow citizen to show respect - in their public utterances - to anyone who occupies the highest office of the land is not being arrogant or presumptuous. Mr. Twum-Boafo was simply performing his civic duty by drawing the man-of-God's attention to the value of applying the principles of decorum in public discourse. He was being a responsible citizen.
  2. Sometimes we learn better if reference is made to things that we understand best. That's when the penny drops; and that is how I understood the CEO's reference to the pastor's regime of offertory collecting in his church. The parallel is really very striking, I believe, and necessary to jolt the man-of-God out of his stupor. Does he ever consider not taking offertory in his church because times are rough for his congregation? If not, why not? Twum-Boafo is not being tongue-in-cheek here at all; neither is he being mischievous. He is drawing attention to an important moral dilemma which, if ignored, could lead to the hypocrisy in pointing to the mote in another's eyes while ignoring the beam in one's eye. Aren't collections in churches taxes after all! And if he, being a man of God, can insist on collecting his 'taxes' [taxes which he is under no obligation to invest in the lives of his flock!] from his congregation when times are hard, how does he have the moral clout to question the government's effort to collect taxes for the delivery societal services that are enshrined in the laws of the land when times are challenging? Fair is fair, doc!

  The warped thinking decried by a renowned Ghanaian educator appropriately applies to you Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe and all the other yahoos who desperately continue to rewrite history on Nkrumah's legacy in the image of the Danquah-Busia tradition.
  The Danquah-Busia fanatics and tribal zealots engage in the narrow minded comparative analysis between communism and or socialist practices against the western free market driven democratic principles most in the Danquah-Busia traditions enjoy. It is the failure to recognize there are no absolutes in the western free market democratic principles and or in socialism/communism that exposes the warped thinking of the NPP-Busia-Danquah ideologues. Failures that have occurred in the applications of free market and democratic values do occur because of the very failures of humans placed in positions of authority to ensure effective practices and procedures that end up failing the people and process. These human temptation and character failure apply to people of the socialist and communist persuasions as well.
  However, let the Danquah-Busia ideologues explain it the evils under free market and democratic practices are acceptable to them but has contempt for the failures in communism and or socialist leanings. So while Nkrumah was trying to extract some good socialist and communist practices to blend with free market driven and democratic values to create a unique system for Ghana the Danquah-Busia zealots could not see anything beyond the closed minded approach to knowledge they obtained.
  In the USA, the national government adheres to socialist principles to justify sending back to individual states money from nationally collected tax revenues. The distribution is not based on individual state contributions but by a formula and need. The same socialist principle is applied in Social Security disbursements, Welfare and a whole host of national government programs including the latest Healthcare system. I do not hear the Danquah-Busia clowns throwing fits. In fact some of Danquah-Busia zealots who live in the US directly benefit from the communist initiated largess being practiced. To further expose the hypocrisy and warped thinking of the Danquah-Busia ideologues one need not go far than to look at why it has become trendy for everyone in the world to look to China for economic salvation. How could that have happened with a system the Busia-Danquah zealots say would never succeed and or amount to anything? If Sir John, Dr. Kwame Okoampa-Ahoofe and others have any electronic gadget they are more likely to have come from China. China did not rise from the ashes over a one year period and neither could Nkrumah have transformed Ghana in 10 years. The Busia-Danquah-NPP ideologues cannot see through their failed arguments and they surely cannot explain why in 8 years the NPP under Kufour did not transform the buy and sell market economy of Ghana into a production/manufacturing base economy. What we had under the NPP 8-years in office was the implementation of a host of unsustainable government programs like NYEP/GYEEDA, school feeding programs etc and the sale of production-based entities like Ghana Telecom, Ghana Airways and other land and mineral resources on the cheap. I rest my case.
