  Ken Agyapong does not need apology now. You have rightly observed that the matter should be thoroughly investigated. Apology to Ken therefore is premature. It could well be that the donation to the party was not done officially through the Chairman. May be Ken is assuming the Chairman was aware but was he ? Did Ken make the donation thro' the Chairman. Too early to talk about apology. In any case, Ken Agyapong talks too much. He is not a good team player.

  Whether Ken Agyapong deserves unqualified apology or not, and whichever way one looks at these allegations. This is a classic example of NPP leadership incompetence and lack of organisational accountability. The NPP isn't a "mushroom" political party, hence, it should be competently managed. Any well-run political party/organisation should have Donations Database/Register in place to keep records of donations and contributions to the party.
  
  If Ken's donation[motor bikes] to the party is indeed true, the big question is: why didn't they show up in the NPP's Donations Register or Donor List? Surely, Jake himself or an aide should be fully aware of such 'big' donation to the party. It's worth noting that many NPP loyalists made huge donations to the party and Ken's claims might be the tip of the iceberg. I suspect many cash donations might have diverted into private accounts/pockets as well as several cars in private garages. This allegation should be investigated thoroughly.

  Anyone who heard the disrespectful and arrogant manner in which this Acheampong guy confronted Dr. Arthur Kennedy on the Asempa Radio Show the other day regarding what Dr. Kennedy had written on this issue would be undoubtedly astounded by these developments.
  
  Mr. Acheampong's attitude could only be justified if he really had nothing to do with the Motor Bikes or knew Jake had nothing to do with them, either.
  
  He lambasted Kennedy Agyapong and attacked Dr. Kennedy for suggesting that Ken's allegation needed investigation by the NPP leadership. I remember gnashing my teeth with disgust when Acheampong opened up his address to Dr. Kennedy with a remark that it was only when the Weather got chilly in the USA that the Dr. writes to critique issues affecting the NPP, citing the book Dr. Kennedy authored on the Elections as an example. The Moderator of the program had to call Acheampong to order on such disparaging comments.
  
  So, now that they have discovered the Bikes in Acheampong's possession, the question arises as to why exactly Acheampong chose to be that brash with Dr. Arthur Kennedy. Was he (Acheampong) simply intimidating Dr. Kennedy to back off any quest for vetting the whereabouts of those Bikes, or he was somehow vouching for Jake's innocence because he had the Bikes into his possession without Jake's knowledge.
  
  I think that Acheampong ought to apologize to Dr. Arthur Kennedy, Kennedy Agyapong and the Public to whom he was grandstanding in Jake's defense. He may have to start looking for a Lawyer pending possible indictment.
