A man with a 25 inch long penis goes to his doctor to complain that he is having a problem with this cumbersome Penis and has had more than one complaint. "Doctor," he asked, in total frustration, "is there anything you can do for me?" The doctor replies, "Medically son, there is nothing I can do. But, I do know this witch who may be able to help you." So the doctor gives him directions to the witch.

The man calls upon the witch and relays his story. "Witch, my penis is 25 inches long and I need help. Can anything be done to help me? You are my last hope!" The witch stares in amazement, scratches her head, and then replies, "I think I may be able to help you. Do this. Go deep into the forest. You will find a pond. In this pond, you will find a frog sitting on a log. This frog has magic. You say to frog, will you marry me? When the frog says no, you will find five inches less to your problem."

The man's face lit up and he dashed off into the forest. He called out to the frog, "Will you marry me?" The frog looked at him dejectedly and replied, "NO." The man looked down and suddenly his penis was 5 inches shorter. "WOW," he screamed out loud, "This is great!!" But at 20 inches it was still too long, so he asked the frog again. "Frog, will you marry me?" the guy shouted. The frog rolled its eyes back in its head and screamed back, "NO!" The man felt another twitch in his penis, looked down, and it was another 5 inches shorter. The man laughed, "This is fantastic." He looked down at his penis again, 15 inches long, and reflected for a moment Fifteen inches is still a monster, just a little less would be ideal.

Grinning, he looked across the pond and yelled out, "Frog will you marry me?" The frog looked back across pond shaking its head, "How many times do I have to tell you? NO, NO, NO!!"

The man ended up with no penis. If every "no" reduces the penis by five inches, then three "no's" mean zero penis.

In Kukuo you don't have charismatic churches. They might be responsible for witch-hunts in Nigeria and Congo, but in Northern Ghana, as in many parts, it is a very traditional problem. Also in Southern Ghana, if people lynch somebody, it is not the charismatic churches who are to blame in the first place. There had been lynchings long ago even before colonial times.

This stupid beliefs could have died a natural death, we could have relegated them to the remotest villages, but the churches keep the belief alive and well.

In Europe and America, belief in witches is dead, but in Africa, the churches have kept the foolish flames alive.

If I understand the guy had gone down to 15 inches -- five inches less for each "No". So finally, he had nothing left with the last three NO's. A leson learned: You can never please a man!

Was it supposed to be killed also, to confirm the verdict allegedly provided by the first one? If not, why was it taken there, then? What a superficial researcher!! So lacking in curiosity!!

You observed right, but you shout too loud. Normally two fowls are used, if the sentence is not clear, or one is a donation for the priest. Also from Gambaga a second fowl is reported to be used by the defense and the first by the accusation or vice versa. So there are many ways to use a fowl. What is relevant here is, that the fowl-ordeal is regarded as "proof" by oh so many people. So if you do better research, go and do, but if you blame Leo Igwe for a lack of curiosity, you don't know the person.

Thing is, if you ban it, where would they go, where would they bring them? They still accuse. So murder is going on in the villages and also in southern towns, and murder is banished. Those women who run there are sometimes stripped and heavily beaten up. Are you allowed to beat someone in Ghana? Nonetheless too many do! So, the ritual is a secondary thing, unless you have the means to police the villages, to protect accused people.
