Who could ever dream of Even Nunoo Mensah as an operative of the central intelligent agency? We all knew about the clandestine activities of Afrifa and his Cohorts! We suspected Rawlings, Kufour and Akufo-Addo-but wait--there are a lot more of them sprouting in the political scene! Arthur K is one!! Any wonder why he has so much admiration for Richard Nixon? Has anyone thought about how he was able to escape from Ghana, obtain a US visa, Obtain an admission into a medical school in the US---even though students in the US go through hell in gaining admission? How was he able to finance himself in the medical school?
Remember his escape from Ghana in the early eighties in the heat of the so-called revolution was "impromptu" ---hence he couldn't have been able to put everything in "place" without an "external" influence!!
Any wonder Arthur K is toning JB Danquah's traitorous style of politics? They were all trained by the same foreign spy agency! Watch out Arthur, we know you better than you think! Your wimpy ass can no longer toy with any Ghanaian! NO MORE "ALUTA"!

"Except for the last 27 months of that period, we had military dictators and most people believed that if only we could kick out the “abongo boys “ and restore democracy, things would get better. Unfortunately, now we have been a democracy for over two decades and we are still “not seeing top”."

This citation looks like regrets about our quest for democracy. But it's not funny. And what exactly isn't funny? The fact that we never learn!

Long before 1966, Nkrumah, gleaning from resources within his own fertile mind and prospects for a free, prosperous and competitive African nation, thought Africans were capable of taking care of their own affairs. It turned out it was a serious mistake and gross misunderstanding of the African. Even in exile in Guinea Nkrumah still continued to believe his betrayal and the whole movie of it was some kind of error.

Years later, a certain lanky Air Force Officer by the name of Jeremiah John Rawlings made the same mistake in believing offering democracy to a state which used to have “Gold” in its name was a step in the right direction.
Well, it was true that the whole idea was forced down his throat but Ghanaian dissidents in the West including guys like J.H. Mensah patrolled the so-called developed world campaigning against assistance to the military junta back at home.
In the end, what did Mr. Mensah do in Kufuor's government? He was rewarded with a worthless portfolio that helped him fleece the country while he chased little girls who were young enough to be his granddaughters. So what changed since?

"Military dictators!"

I would live in military dictatorship if it controls our response and attitude to work, law and order, discipline and security, especially one that holds in high esteem ideals of accountability and probity rather than in a system in which innocent unarmed lady bankers are strangled in their rooms because someone wants stereo system and a car without working for it; one in which having an account in a bank is a nightmare, where politicians ONLY aspire to the wealth of the country!

So what has changed? What a waste […] !

Awarding the contracts to a Chinese is already wrong in the first place but no one can blame the government for awarding contracts to the Chinese. But when a contractor negotiates for contracts, he pull a stunt that in form of agreements asking for those people he believes would help him achieve the optimum output. And Chinese are more hardworking than Ghanaians.

During the AFRC's rule, cars were forced on the regime by the Japanese when we didn't need them. About 75 percent of aid requested was given in form of materials, and the country asked for liquidity no other country accepted to give Ghana.

Do you know Kpone behind the industrial area in Tema? Try plying the roads there - not to cite ones far away - and take a look to appreciate how a patriotic citizen could do that. Meanwhile, he was said to have strictly affirm the work was done and good. The contractor should have been made to pay and also jailed!

Ghanaian contractors CANNOT BUILD quality roads. They aren't trustworthy, they are liars and dupes. They will use only 1 percent of the award for the construction, and no one monitors the works they do because kickbacks already changed hands long before contracts are awarded without tenders.

Ghana limits our diaspora to those who left after 1957 , the nation of Akan recognizes those in Brazil , Caribbean ,USA etc centuries ago as all children of Akan and most welcome home just as the Israelis also are not limited by time . yes even Michelle Obama is a child of the Akan nation like it or not . Arthur K was helped along by ordinary Ghanaians on the way, throughout his sojourns, from Ghana, through Ivory Coast to Toronto, Canada and finally USA. I am a witness of the help many Ghanaians gave him in Canada. Don't invent your nonsense here.

For Christ sake did you even read his article - which was a synopsis of where we have been, spinning in circles since 1972? Of course you did not read the article, you just have pre-conceived misconceptions about Arthur K and couldn't wait for the opportunity to offload that garbage in your twisted mind at the least opportunity. Whether you like it or not, everyone has a right to express an opinion. So if you believe the other person is bending the truth a bit, then educate that person on those concerned issues with facts and proofs instead of resorting to calling him names. That doesn't show any class, does it?

So in essence you are just as bullish and uncouth as the person you want to correct.
Take a look at yourself in the mirror and you will see exactly what I'm talking about.

He was the first medical student to head the NUGS.Just remember he was a 5th year medical student at the UGMS when he left because of the threats on his life by then the military government. He was helped by ordinary citizens of Ghana through Ivory coast and to Canada.He was finally able to transfer to a medical school in the west Indies where he completed very quickly .He then completed his residency in medicine in the US and SET UP A THRIVING MEDICAL practice in South Carolina.
In any case, he raised very great points in his article which are worthy of discussion. Let all put partisan politics aside and get real otherwise the ship will sink.

I still can't believe how the statisticians of today's Ghana failed to to collect data on unemployment. It looks like, unemployment is not a critical issue that needs remediation at all. Because they (politicians) are getting pay, because they enjoy the oasis of being employed, they insensitively downplay the pains of the punches of unemployment on the socioeconomic status of those who face it.

Enlightening the general populace on these issues would definitely bring the change that we all hope for. So please, keep informing us; we'd always appreciate.
