If these actions were undertaken by any other group of people who aren't necessarily Muslims, we would have heard mention of religion?
The police recently shot demonstrating residents of an area in the Ashante region (not sure of the town) religion or Christians wasn't mentioned, imagine if the demonstrators were majority Muslims or from Zongo?

Well said my brother. However, what you should know is that Ghana is peaceful because muslims are always restraining theselves and giving out the other chick. The question is for how long can we continue doing that? I am not in any way supporting the attack but imagine a situation in a public institution like U.E.W. A church and a mosque were built almost at the same time just about 100meters apart and whiles the mosque can not get electricity, the church has been electrified.

To me the Muslim youth are right ,this issue of baby missing has been with us for years and no one went to talk about it.
I think this will be the end of the evil act

Abu, I know Islam frowns upon violence, and I also agree this is not the best way of tackling the issue, but let's not stray away from the issue here. I do not understand why the media had to entitle it 'Muslim youth'. I beleive the title 'lost baby family' would have been more appropriate. I'm sure no Christian family would have taken this lightly too. This did not happen because they are Muslims, it happened because they are family and friends/sympathizers of the poor lady who went through the hardships of delivery and yet does not even have the body of her baby, even if it is a dead body. this rubbish must stop. now, instead of the focus being on where the body of the baby is, it has been diverted to 'Muslim youth'. which reader here will go home and fold their arms should their supposed dead baby be lost and no one seems to care? people should wake up iand smell the disgusting reality and stop being petty!

violence begets violence; this is not the way to go. clearly those who were charged with seeing to it that the right thing was done in this matter erred. the law should have taken its proper course and not few individuals taking the law into their own hands by being lawless. has the violence resolved the issue? now the doctors are on a sit down strike for fear of their lives. do we know how many patients and emergency cases that will and have been turned away because of this needless act? now the tag of Moslems being violent has deepened. if every individual who has been treated in this manner or in another way were to react violently I think Ghana wouldn't be there till date. we can be all be angry but let's exercise restraint.

We should fold our arms and be peaceful as always for babies to continue getting missing then.Would that be a solution?

the writer must retract the heading of the story as they are not angry 'Muslim youth'. they are 'angry families of MISSING BABY' and I put missing baby in capital letters because that is the fundamental issue here, not religion(which many of you seem to have forgotten all thanks to the journalists irresponsible journalism! whether Budist, Christian, Aethist or whatever, no family will tak esuch an issue lightly. if half the attention payed to the fact that 'Muslim youth' are supposedly being violent was payed to the issue of the missing baby, this wouldnt have happened in the first place. the writer, again in his practice of irresponsible journalism, forgets to mention it was a peaceful protest till nurses started abusing the already irrated group physically and verbally from staff of the hospital which resulted in the violence. now, attention has been diverted from the missing baby and all are fighting for the nurses who cannot produce the baby? disgusting!
These Boko Haram people jus want to kill.
So much for religion of peace.
