  Jones is driving past the state mental hospital when his left rear
  tire suffers a flat. While Jones is changing the tire, another car
  goes by, running over the hub cap in which Jones was keeping the lug
  nuts. the nuts are all knocked into a nearby storm drain.
  
  Jones is at a loss for what to do and is about to go call a cab when
  he hears a shout from behind the hospital fence, where one of the
  inmates has been watching the whole thing.
  
  "Hey, pal! Why don't you just take one lug nut off each of the other
  three wheels? That'll hold your tires on until you can get to a garage
  or something."
  
  Jones is startled by the patient's seeming rationality, but realizes
  the plan will work, and installs the spare tire without incident.
  Before he leaves, he calls back to the patient. "You know, that was
  pretty sharp thinking. Why do they have you in there?"
  
  The patient smiles and says, "I'm in here because I'm crazy, not
  because I'm stupid."

  Indiscipline is everywhere.....people can't even queue for services without people trying to jump. We are so disorderly

  Travel and See,Some where Far East,A nation of vehicles,I saw something which made me wonder,when two cars had an accident ,both drivers do not say a word to themselves ,say who is rights or wrong,no words,police first,then the rest belong to insurance company of both vihicles,they will make the talking,secondly both the driver are at faults for involving in road accident ,saying the roads were not there for accident ,in this case people are not interested in driving,this ideas was made to save life's before buying a car,not even to drive one.

  thanks for this write-up. One thing we have to be aware of is that there are more people on the road than cars and most drivers wanted to reach their destinations early. You mentioned that "National Road Safety Commission has tried to reach out to the public with road accident prevention messages through public seminars and talks, the screening of feature films on road safety and various programmes of collaboration with drivers unions, road-side communities and public institutions and organizations. Road safety devices are being installed along some road crash-endemic routes.", but it seems these strategies are not working. My suggestion is for the govt to use the radio waves to spread the news. Why because every Ghanaian listens to the radio. The govt should select a day in each region and broadcast the dangers on the road in the language that the people in the various regions understand. This should be broadcast at the same time in the said region on the same day. Farmers, market women, students, teachers, fishermen, civil servants, politicians, parliamentarians and every tom dick and harry would hear the word and this would generate a discussion.
  National Road Safety Commission and Ghana Education service should collaborate on this project to reach all the schools in Ghana
  It is going to take time and resources to achieve this. So far as there is the will there is the way.

  To put it in perspective, 15 meters square is the area of a room 5 meters by 3 meters? Or better still, a stretch of road 5 meters wide and 3 meters long. Is this what Jomo really means?

  Cants read and write is bad,but that is not the problem Ghanians are Driving in China,S.korea,S.Arabia,Japan they cants read nothing,But they do drive perfect in those countries without accident ,how about that??????
