But a moron like Dr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo, Doctor of Law in Texas is still wallowing in the idiocy of yester-years unable to move forward from J.B. Danquah british/american-bootlicking typical of the likes of Kuffour and Nana Addo and a mob of so-called property-owning democrats, who in reality are nation-wreckers and kleptocrats.

When Nkrumah was developing links with China, their kind called him names and wanted him dead, throwing bombs at him and giving bombs in flowers to little girls blown away in their evil machinations. But now even America is drowning in goods made in China and owes the communist country billions upon billions of dollars.

Dr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo, Doctor of Law in Texas should look at the labels in his suits, shirts, hats and shoes, even his underwear, his array of home electronics, tiles on the floors of his home and office, etc and he will see "Made in China".

Nothing in Ghana today can match what NKRUMAH started and built for all Ghanaians to use and enjoy. Asare,like thousands of his cohort, would not be enjoying the good life in Texas and elsewhere,had Nkrumah not expanded free and compulsory primary education - in both mission and government schools - to all,including the children of farmers,laborers and fishermen.

We are all aware of their attempts to name everything in Ghana after Nkrumah . This crusade was led by Uncle Atta who was a student at the Ideiological Institute. Before Rawlings and his wife could see what hit them , the CPP had taken over their party to continue their agenda of rehabilitating Nkrumah's image in Ghana. If Nkrumah had not been overthrown Ghana would have been like North Korea . What is happening now is a war of ideologies between CPP tradition of socialism with propaganda and rewriting history as it's weapons and the UP tradition of capitalism and self reliance. The CPP as a party could not be variable because of it's sordid past. Luckily for them Rawlings appeared on the scene and they took advantage of his naivety and invaded his AFRC / PNDC/ NDC. We now have CPP as a party. The question is , why can't they revive it and make it viable. The answer is simple . Your guess is as good as mine- their socialist / communists agenda has no place in this era of free market economy which has been the UP's hallmark.

Why could he not just say that Afrifa and Kotoka, fine soldiers led the coup (the beginning of the end for Ghana and Africa ) but had to add their tribes and that is where his whole focus is. That Ashantis and Ewes are friends so they should come together but if they do, should be to support the NPP or the NDC as the two parties are claimed to have their roots in the two tribes? But why should the two tribes come together, against which other tribes? Which tribes are the enemies of these two tribes? 2. Nkrumah didn't arrive in Gold Coast with any Doctor's degree. He hadn't finished his program and he wasn't calling himself Doctor when he arrived in the Gold Coast at the behest of the UGCC in the late 40s. This "Doctor" thing came later on.

3. The NLC was in power for 3 and a half years, not two years as SAS writes here.

I didn't even read all the series but got these factual errors. Errors of intepretation are a different matter.

Nkrumah's legacy is ambivalent. It is difficult to conclude either that he was a deviously bad leader or an unblemished and great one. Any true and proper analysis of the man's rule will show more nuance than SAS displays here.

Nkrumah conferred on himself the title of "doctor" when no university had conferred any such degree on him. That is a fact!
The exact time frame of the NLC regime is open to interpretation .

3. The exact time frame of the NLC cannot be open to interpretation. The coup happened on the night to February 24th, 1966. It was a Thursday. The NLC, with some changes in its membership, handed over power to the new government headed by Busia as Prime Minister on Octobr 1st, 1969. It was a Wednesday. I don't see which other way that can be interpreted.

Nkrumah attended the University of Pennsylvania(an Ivy League school and one the top-most research institutions in the world,in Philadelphia and home of the Wharton School), where he obtained his MA in theology.He was working on his doctorate,when post WW11 agitations in the colonies and Pan-African agitation for independence brought him to London - where the action was.

At least, the whole world knows of the tremendous contributions made by Nkrumah towards the liberation of Africa, and the building of infrastructure, schools and factories in Ghana. What contribution to Ghana and the world has this Azar man in Austin made - except calling himself "Dr."(lawyers in America don't preface their names with such appellation). As it is said, you can take a person out of the ghetto or the bush, but you cannot take the ghetto or bush out of him. Azar should concentrate on making money from divorce cases and quit exposing his ignorance.

2. Are those problems of that time different from what we have now i.e. broad term?
3. Was nkrumah part of the problem or the problem?
Somebody please educate me on this because we can't have a polarize history. We need to scrutinize what everybody did factually not just nkrumah.
History serves as a guide from the past and we cannot rely on a blind or cynical guide.

true: that Nkrumah was not the recipient of other's benevolence, that he did not repay them with imprisonment, that that there was no PDA, that there was no imprisonment without trial, that there was no removal of the franchise, nor declaration of one party state nor life president!

Nkrumah did a nice job by screwing up your brains and the extent of the damage is far more than initially thought. Therefore for another three hundred years, you and your children's children's heads will remain deep-frozen with the shibboleth of Nkrumahism; you cannot think, you cannot debate, you cannot reason, except to bray, to bleat and to bark, for you are Nkrumah's donkeys, his sheep and his dogs.

It would be better you do more research before coming to write such bullshit. Why have you concealed the fact of the pan-Afriacanist congress of 1945 in London where Nkrumah exihibited his organisational abilities and exceptional leadership qualities and mind you that meeting was attended by Busia, Jomo Keyyata, Julius Nyerere, Joshua Nkomo and most of the Africa great men who fought for Independence later in their life. Donot be economical with the truth because Nkrumah was recommended not because he was a Ghanaian but because he had proved a point. You can asked any truth telling UP member and he would tell you that Nkrumah arrived in Ghana with the liberation of Africa continent, not only Ghana, in mind. You may find his answers in the interview for the UGCC secretary. You may also recall the famous declaration at Swedruw by J B Danquah himself when he introduced Nkrumah. It was divine and truly prophetic. Nkrumah did all that you have enumerated and that is what a leader is supposed to do and he campaigned for that. Right or wrong? If those factories or whatever are not visible today, the writer had nothing to do with that.

As we grow, the lies let for posterity will be exposed about who and what did what to Nkrumah etc. Everything that happened during those days were put squarely on the head of the opposition UP but gradually, the truth is coming out.
