WE ARE INDEED RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR SELF DESTRUCTION...just look at what the wicked ndc did the moment they took power....they plunged into shameful thievery and thievery.... We Reap What We Sowed,,,,We Sowed Fake Judgement Debts, Almost One Billion Dollars....We Sowed Woyome 45 Million Dollars, We Sowed Waterville 46 Million Dollars,.....We Sowed Gyeed, Subah, Sada, ....We Sowed Inflated Contracts Like Six Classroom Blks Costing 400,000.00 Ghc Under Ndc Instead Of 80,000.00 Under Npp....We Sowed 8.7 Billion Ghc Overexpenditure In 2012 Just For Ndc And John Mahama To Win Elections....We Sowed A Great Deal Of Thievery And Corruption Whilst Men Of God And Duncan Williams Continue To Sit Idle By Or Got Involved In Thieving Themselves.......So What Is Duncan Williams Saying To God.....We Are Reaping What The Ndc Govt Has Sowed.
Ablakwah Look At The Poverty Of Volta Region And Its Natives And Yet You Were Asking Ghanaians To Pay Out 1.5 Billion Dollars To Africa Auto Ltd.....And You Even Tried To Influence Martin Amidu To Do Same By Looting And Sharing Fake Judgement Debts To Cronies And Criminal Friends Of Yours........It Is Only In Ghana That Criminals Like U Will Continue To Represent Their People In Govt Despite Ur Criminal Conduct In Office Since Ndc Took Over And The Doors Were Opened For Looting And Sharing..........It Is Ndc That Has Destroyed The Economy With Criminal Acts Like Building Six-Classroom Blk For 400,000.00 Ghc Instead Of 80,000.00 By Npp And Kuffuor......Gyeeda, Subah, Sada, And 8.7 Bn Ghc Overexpenditure In 2012 Just For Mahama To Win Elections......Satan Is In Bed With U All In Ndc And So U Will Suffer More Than This.

And so what's wrong with that? Buddhism's Nisheren Dashonin states in 1276 to his followers that if a nation elects bad leaders the people will suffer.
Ghana and Africa are examples.

Blaming Ghanaians for the mess going on is unfortunate but Ghanaians should see you as not different from those supervising the mess today.
Give this character power and you get the blame.

Dear Kennedy,
Well done. It is very well written. Indeed the issue of bad citizenship is a problem. We have indeed lots and lots of bad citizenship in our country. If every one plays his or her role effectively and resolves to be a good citizen, this nation will go that far. Oh may God help us go that far as good citizens!!
Thank you and have a blessed time.

When has the government consficate people´s money? If you have any sense in your skull, you would have been asking Kufour why our oil money to the tune of 300 millions for he and his cronies alone. "As the people are, so are their pastors, priests, and their leaders. "If we think this is not true then we the people must get involved, directly or indirectly, in the day to day running of the affairs of the nation. Politics affects every aspect of human life and we shortchange ourselves if we live the welfare of the state in the hands of a few individuals. We should get involved in the electoral process and elect men of proven ability and integrity not just mere talkers. Partisan politics is good but we must not vote en block.
Leadership is a stewardship and requires accountability from those chosen by the vote of the people. Power must reside in the hands of the people not in the hands of politicians.
Politicians are having a field day because we're too polarized and the partisan divide clouds our thinking.
Maybe we look on unconcerned because many of us are like the politicians and will just what they do if we're placed in positions of leadership and responsibility.
We stand together or fall together. There's nothing like NDC Ghana or NPP, CPP, PPP Ghana. It's only one Ghana we have and anything we do to hurt one part of Ghana hurts us all. The politicians want us divided and always at each other's throat so they can rule unchallenged and not held accountable. We are strong when we act as one and speak with one voice. No politician deserves our vote who seeks to keep us divided and cannot run for office on their track record. It's time for to shun tribal politics and stay focused on the national agenda and prosperity. No more"Vote for me northerners because it's time for a northerner to be president"or"Yen Akanfo de". Let's vote for competent ghanaians regardless of where they come from and hold them accountable for their stewardship. No one ghanaian deserves a bigger share in the national cake by virtue of where they come from. We all have an equal share as fellow citizens. We must also learn to judge people by the company they keep. Long live a united and prosperous Ghana.

Arthur K,
Leaving Nana Akufo-Addo out of your roll call was neither smart nor honest. He was the Secretary to the Professional Assocaition that fought Acheampong's dictatorship and UNIGOV nonesense. I believe he even went to jail for it. He was also a kin pin of the 'Kume Preko'Group that fought the P/NDC's 'buga buga'government.
That said, this was a good write up. You are right about nearly all of us being "Bad Citizens." We sat tamely as Jerry Rawlings and Mohammed Abdallah destroyed our education system with a JSS/SHS system they did not understand. Jerry Rawlings then used the millions he had stolen from selling state assets to his cronies and tribesmen, to educate his children in expensive foreign schools and universities.
The dumbing down of our education system is what made is possible for Ayariga to garner more votes than Nduom. It is the porous education system that made it possible for Afri-Djan to engage in "voddo mathematics" and get away with it.
It is the dumbing down of our education system that allows Mahama to repeat 101 promises to the people of Ghana without delivering a single one in 2013 and still manage to receive applause from a section of Ghanaian society.
You and I living outside Ghana should even be more worried about the ramifications of the bad leadership that afflicts our country because since most of us cannot afford to live in Europe or North America on our pensions, we are bound to return to Ghana in our old age to be served by the nearly 80% badly educated Ghanaians that wil be our plumbers, electricians, caprenters and mechanics, dispensing assistants, and the rest!

Have you schooled outside the country?Just compare the education outside with what was put in place. Anyway , why did K4 not abolish it as he was there for 8 years and what was the reform of 2007?

Very typically NDC. Anytime your prorous policies are pointed out, you strive to link it with NPP!

Try working out comparative education before you make comments . This has nothing to do with NDC but other systems in play . Take the modules in USA, Canada and East Africa and S AFrica
