Nobody can hide the light and true destiny of the great nation of Akan. they use all kinds of schemes and tricks to undermine or deny a proper standard to us but we shall never surrender. we shall change and adapt as like the Israelis we are the chosen people of God and he in his great design has made us diverse but unified in spirit. the ashantis like the tribe of Judah are and will remain an integral part of our being to to attack any one part we all end up feeling it sooner or later. they have succeed in turning some of our chiefs and kings against us and work for their evil ungodly agenda but we still see clearly . God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. They threaten us with superstition , juju and what have you and we say fuck you and go to hell as the divine power is with us . Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

No. But being hungry and with the intention of swallowing what cannot go down his throat, the first thing that came to his mind is "money". What was patriotism to him if he has any good intentions about the nation?

This Melcom case cannot happen in any "civilize nation" where the rule of law is the ultimate. Do you think those who died or have had life threatening injuries are Ghanaians? No. Those people are Martians who by accident, came on a visit and get employed at that store so, who cares about aliens in our midst? The owners of that store have paid huge sums of monies just for them to walk away without facing the law and I will like someone to challenge me on this.

Mahama had said that "We Ghanaians have short memories" and with that in mind, he will do, act and get away with it because we cannot remember something that took place yesterday.

Corruption is now institutionalized and is very scary indeed. In the later part of the eighties passenger vehicle operators were required to pay their taxes quaterly and a driver friend of mine used to pay his at the IRS office behind the Nima Police Station. In order to get your file to process your payment ,you had to tip a staffer otherwise you could waste the whole day sitting on a bench in the office. This is paying bribe to pay your taxes , only in Ghana. Corruption has festered since independence, and is getting worse as the years go by.

What we are now seeing is tribalism which has taken place of patriotism. Because of greed, materialism has taken the place of patriotism. We are 'divided people' there is no unity in the country-and as the old saying goes,-'united we stand, divided we fall'. Society is stronger when the people are together and look up to each other as a brother or a sister. We are practising a tribal democracy/democrazy in Ghana. If you have political leaders who wear 'tribal tags' around their necks and ask their tribesmen and women for their votes, that makes nonsense of patriotism. What we need more than anything in this country is education in all aspect of life and not only class room education which come s with degrees without any sense or responsibility. What makes us different from animals, is because we are humans who have the power to discriminate. Power animals do not have. As humans, we have power to discriminate between real and unreal. Right and wrong, good and evil. These are some of characteristics missing in the political leadership in the country. You are behaving like animals when you fail to be responsible for the trust the people have given you. Looting the coffers for personal gain and denying the people their basic needs. Nations do not have to give anything to anyone to warrant their loyalty or patriotism; it must come from people who have the capacity to love, themselves and by extension the community they live. The greatest nation on earth, The United States of America, was not a nation that came into existence on some platform of tall building, industrial base that was working to perfection and streets paved in gold but started as all nation do struggling to let its people see a future that can only come when its people work tirelessly to make it a reality.
It was not an ideal or idea imposed upon America's founding generation from Western Europe or from the living standards somewhere in Africa, Asia , China or others. Everyone in Ghana especially those who has lived long to understand the dirty politics in Ghana knows or should know that Ghana is what it is today because, there are those who have been brain-washed to act stupid even when they think and see themselves as superior to others. The struggles of America’s greatest generation of founders took the blood, sweat, tears and lives at time but in the end gave them a nation worth their heartaches and headaches. Ghana's elite the likes of J.B. Danquah, K. A. Busia and of late J.A.Kufour, Nana Akufo Addo the late Atta Mills and most in the current breed of Ghana's intellectual elite have been cut from the mold of lazy people incapable of foresight and or ideas of their own. As such they have and do always look to what others have done in other nation even as they neglect, by design, the need for sacrifice and hard work.
For those who argued and continue to argue about the intellect of the Danquag/Busia ideology I ask you did Dr. K. A. Busia not get a chance to be prime minster in Ghana? And what happened to all the if and only if crap? We overthrew Nkrumah because we dreamt of a future built on the lies of the UP/UGCC/Dumbo quick sand foundations. Oh yes Dr. K.A. Busia got the chance in Ghana and was overthrown because he screwed up Ghana even for his followers of ideologues. What we have as Ghana is a nation of citizens incapable of patience, sacrifice hard work even as we prance around in Ghana claiming to come from one superior tribe after another. Yet when the slave ship arrived on our shores those carried out were Ghanaians or citizens of the Gold Coast who would have pretended they were superior to others. You can only love yourself and or your nation when you are confident and self assured of your capacity to change your environment for the better. You are bound to hate others and your nation when you hate yourself and thus desire for others afar to help you improve on things you are incapable of doing for yourself.
This happens to be the ideology of people who cannot create a nation built from lessons learned but think some things work somewhere in some country and must work the same way in Ghana even when the culture, the foundations of institutions of state are not capable. These are the zealots amongst us and in the Diaspora who engage in political gotcha even as they fail to make changes in the very communities their clan live. Love of nation is not premised on what your country promises but what you can make of it or make it to be.
