This is very interesting. The Kumawu chieftaincy affair has taken an unprecedented dimension. Only in Ghana can a queen, in a public hearing, loudly tell the whole nation of having offered bribes to all the three kingmakers. Then all these three kingmakers loudly tell the whole nation of accepting the bribes. However Asantehene quickly agrees to this illegality and bless the deal. I hope the High Court has the balls to call spade a spade and send a strong message against bribery and corruption that has become a cancer permeating every fabric of our society including the chieftaincy institution.
