Customers have the right to sue their banks if they go contrary to the confidential act except that information is requested by a competent court of law. I believe most Ghanaians are aware of this.

Not exactly, foreclosure notices in the US only list the names of the take-over banks and don't enclosed the original owners information. Do you know it is illegal in the United States for a creditor to list the names of debtors who have defaulted on their loans to a third party? (I smell a law suit) It is illegal for a creditor to call you after you told the creditor to cease and decease from calling you. It’s also illegal for a creditor to come over to your house, your place of work and demand payment from you. You must also remember that in the United States, if you feel overwhelmed by creditors, depending on the individual situation, you could file Chapter 7 bankruptcy and all your debts would be forgiven. Your creditors would stop harassing you and you won’t have to pay a dime to anyone. God bless America, what a country!

If a law student does not know the difference between TAUGHT (past tense of teach) and THOUGHT (past tense of think), then he might as well stop studying law and attend English classes.
