  Undoubtedly, these allegations are very incriminating. As Asantes, we've stuck our heads in the sand appearing as if nothing is happening, and wishing that they are not true about our beloved king. Unfortunately, this is the reality on the ground. I am not from Kumawu but I am sure that Adofo can provide convincing proofs to these allegations. The level of simmering distrust for our king is at an all-time high here in Kumasi and beyond. I think Adofo's characterizations of Otumfuo in his writings are too blunt for us to bear. We want to believe that they are not true. The recent hoax stories about his demise in South Africa brought to the fore the sharp divide in opinions within the Asante communities which hitherto, had displayed their unflinching support for the previous Asantehenes.

  Kweku, if I were you, I would be careful and wise enough to rethink about this issue. Remember, Rockson is not against Asanteman and neither has he said anything against previous Asante chiefs. Are you speaking for a man or for a society who are suffering under this enstoolment issue. A snake bites in anger and Rockson speaks from the viewpoint of all the sons of Kumawuman. Everyone who tells the truth is always hated by many but when the truth prevails, we will know who was wrong. Time will tell. If these are allegations, I think Asantehene might know about it and therefore can come to redeem himself. After all he is the Otumfuo, and I know even if he is wrong, people like you will cover it. I hope he is not manipulating the enstoolment but if he is, you Kweku Duro and Rockson Adofo will live to tell the same story and we will know who will be an idiot.
