Those midwives on duty that day should be held accountable for being careless and taking things for granted.
It may happen that the baby was dead the those responsible think the mothers/ mother who lost their babies have no right to see their dead babies and disposes off the bodies without the mother,s consent. These nurses and doctors are not really govern by the rule of law. Nobody sues a doctor or a nurse so, they have no regard for the people in their care.
Trained in the same hospital, I can see the difference in attitude of Ghanaian health worker and other countries. Something has to change from the old, backward ways of handling patients in our care, they deserve better.

What is the crime of the poor security or cleaner if he even disposed of the body by accident? Should the doctor and midwives not be held for not making sure that the body was properly disposed off, assuming it is true that the baby was stillborn?

It would be injustice to the highest order if the final report of the ministry concludes that the body of the baby was accidentally burnt by the cleaner or security worker. This is because the interim report of the committee established that the incinerator had not been used for five days including the said day that the body was allegedly burnt using the incinerator. This is a 180 degrees turn and who is the ministry protecting? Is that why the minister is now talking about paying compensation to the money? Can money compensate the loss of a baby that is probably alive and with some fake mother?

The baby or babies were sold by some of the hospital staff, especially the midwives. This probably has been ongoing at KATH for sometime but this time they sold the wrong baby or they have bitten more than they can chew. The midwives who delivered the five babies should be arrested and prosecuted for stealing and selling babies. It appears only the poor are held accountable in Ghana whilst the rich and powerful are above the law.

You see, KATH is a useless university medical school and Sherry Aryitey is a useless woman who was part of the group of university graduates who collapsed GIHOC. I think the only way we could counter this gagging gestures by Sherry Aryity is to set up a fund for Madam Suwiba with the sole aim of looking for her missing baby. I am sure the Government knows the whereabout of the missing baby that is why they are trying to gag the woman with money. You see, they failed to liberalize homosexuality in Ghana and the only way they think they could pay back the gay community in kind is to facilitate the stealing of babies and then selling them to homosexuals to adopt. Remember this government of the NDC is in bed with the international gay community and so might have aided the selling of such babies to gay couples for adoption. That could be the reason why the police is dragging their feet with regards to this case. Let this case take an international dimension so that the world will know how useless our university graduates are.

How can we talk of corruption and yet turn round to support this level of connivance and negligence.
