His well documented statement that the second coming of Rawlings was aimed at replacing a so-called Akan hegemony to an Ewe hegemony and that he is first an Ewe and second a ghanaian speak volumes about his hatred for other tribes especially the Akan tribe. What about Rawlings whose hatred for Akans is not a secret because of his many utterances and actions? And John Mahama? He solicited for northern votes and implored northerners to vote for him not because he was the most qualified candidate for president but just for the most silly of all reasons that he is from the north too. What about the tribal imbalance in ministerial appointments? They were skewed in favor of northerners as an appeasement for winning the northerners votes.

As a secondary school teacher I have had the opportunity to teach Ghanaian students from all the ethnic groups in the ten regions of the country - Upper West, Upper East, Northern, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, Eastern, Central, Western, Volta, Greater Accra.
I am convinced that there is nothing to indicate that students from any of the regions are intellectually superior to the others.
I am Fante ( Central Region ) but I lived in Ashanti all through my childhood. I was brought up by an Ewe man who married my aunt.
I am irritated to hear any Ghanaian making any deteriorating remark about any ethnic group in Ghana.
No ethnic group in Ghana is superior to any other. I know that values differ in the different ethnic groups. Some adore wealth no matter how it is achieved. Others prefer to achieve wealth just through hard genuine work. Lately, many Ghanaians from all the ten regions are developing the attitude that it is O.K. to get involved in corruption to be wealthy.

Looking at current marriage trends clearly shows that the new generation is willing to move away from this primitive mentality but the old folks that had been raised during the uncivilized days simply wont let go.
They are even making it worse by piting tribes against tribes just to gain political power. How foolish can we be? I recently came back from Ghana and realized some of siblings are dating from all tribes. I have just realized my family now consist of Asante, Ga, Ewe, Akyem, Fante, Bono, and various Northern tribes because these kids dont care.
The old generation of Africans had let us down in all spheres of life. Some of those that write and make some of the most embarrassing comments on this site are well educated and religious folks. But there is one thing they all have in common. And that is they of the old stock with the same old colo mentality.
The old should just die off with their foolishness and leave the new generations aloooon! They have already caused enough problems for the African.

I think you were in this country when Kobby Acheampong referred to Sir John as "kookoo ase kuraseni" and "Kumasi thing" but nobody read any tribal sentiments into it.
As for your allegation against Sir John the least said about it the better. He never made any allusions about where Justice Atuguba comes from so how can you attribute tribal connotations to it?
On Dr Busia, he never made those statements you have attributed to him. It is simply not true. You lied about him. Can you tell us where and when he uttered those words? The person who is rumoured to have derided the northerners was a CPP stalwart in the person of Krobo Adusei. Leave Busia out of this.
People in NDC have used this propaganda for political advantage but it is your lot that have clearly been tribalistic on numerous platforms. Mahama himself campaigned in the north by selling himself as a northerner. In 2008, Mills told his kinsmen in the Central Region that Kufuor ignored them because he was an Asante. Ama Benyiwa Doe (NDC) called Balado Manu a "northerner" on radio. I guess you never heard any of those, did you?
NPP have never made tribalism a campaign issue and have never looked down on any tribe.
I also want you to know that NPP did not lose big as you want us to believe. The election petition hearing clearly did not support your assertion.
Let's be truthful and move Ghana forward.
