the hosts did not do justice to the situation. i am disappointed in karl tuffour and christopher opoku. it appear they are also scared of something. i knew from the word go that government's position not to send any supporter to brazil was a complete hoax. and for a whole chief of staff to brand a an expenditure on sports as state secret is an indication of how they are applying the nation's resources. but they should just take heed. nothing untoward will go unpunished even if it take decades

The executive branch of government knows exactly what it is doing. First of all it has the "Yes men" in our docile Parliament to rubberstamp anything that is put before PArliament.
Secondly, the governmment is sure that the opposition parties in Parliament will not bark, as long as a few of their members are "included in the delegation" to Brazil. They are completely compromised.
That will allow the governing party to include as many of its foot soldiers as possible for a free ride on the back if the poor cocoa farmers of Ghana! I can bet my bottom penny that in spite of all the millions that have been allocated to 'Ghana World Cup 2014', there will be a supplementary budget for more cash.
Naturally, they do not care about schools under trees because teir children do not use them. They do not care about the newly delivered mothers that have to sleep on the floor of the maternity ward at Gee because their wives and daughters will not be delivered there. Dum so does not bother them because the poor taxpayer will pay for generators and fuel for their homes.
Unfortunately, Maame Serwaa, Kojo Arhin, Araba Mensima and Ataa Nii who are directly affected by this plain thievery are completely numbed, as you rightly put it. That is why all right-thinking Ghanaians must join this crusade that you have begun.
