  i dont see the Europeans offering the other benefits such as the freedom of movement and insisting on visa free entry into their countries. they are not offering half a trillion for infrastructural development and real assistance in bettering the standard of the people of west Africa . this is a war that will destroy any chances of self reliance and self development . see what they have done to our poultry , fish and beef industry . until we have people who understand the issues and the true hidden agendas and dangers of such a one sided agreement where the benefits are only for the Europeans we should not engage in any such devastating experiments . EPA is being pushed now because they are aware pepeni is an illigimate president , even now the video of the murder of atta mills is being circulted in private circles and one day soon he will be overthrown so he is rushing to put another yoke and burden on the people of Akan. this govt can only borrow and can not even secure investments of 30 billion dollars how do they expect to handle a multitrillion agreement which in reality denies your own people the right to develop their own industry. our industrial base is less than 3% by the way. lets not allow this foolishness to pass , its time for a revolution so we restart the future for our children. we shall never surrender

  Tawiah, having you taken leave of your intellectual abilities? Why on earth would you discuss cell phones and electricity and water in the same vein?...MTN and Vodafone are private enterprises and their objective is to maximize their profits as fast as humanly possible...the quest to make money is therefore the driving force behind their aggressive advertising....the same cannot be said of any African government.
  
  The provision of basic infrastructure has always been a challenge for governments on the continent for reasons that can best be described as irresponsibility and neglect.
  
  Cell phones are a necessity these days and you ought to know that...the dramatic changes brought about by the invention of this device are there for all to see....so why begrudge Ghanaians for possessing cell phones? The phones have made their lives less cumbersome and more interactive.....come up with something more intellectually stimulating than this crap about Ghanaians and their cell phones.....

  "if I knew Ghanaians wanted milk and sardines I would have made milk to flow in pipes to people's homes".
  
  This was after the CIA flooded the country with essential commodities immediately after the coup.
  
  Nkrumah thought about industrializing the country and with that would come jobs, improved health, education and middle income economic status by 1979 and advanced economy by 1998. (5 and 7 year development plans)
  
  The saboteurs (including Danquah, Busia, Afrifa, Kotoka, Ankrah etc) aided the CIA to derail Ghana's development. They thought they were destroying Nkrumah, they didnt know they were destroying Ghana, Now you same people are crying. Please STOP crying. "you guys havent seen nothing yet"
  
  Nkrumah build over 350 industries,thousands of secondary schools and other infrastructures within 9 years. What did these same crooks do to these infrastructures? you sold all of them to your cronies including the Ghana telecom you Francis Tawia are talking about.

  Travel and see,and you will come to realise that, Tawiah is saying the truth.The blame game is not the issue,
  but what have Mahama achieve in nation building?
  Any honest person in Ghana will confess,that in spite of corrupt allegations against Kuffour eight years of rule,was seen as a great step foreward towards developmentof a nation.

Even before Nkrumah left some of the government enterprises were beginning to suffer -- Ghana Airways was operating at a loss etc. P & T sucked when operated by government, the only reason why the telecom sector is doing well is because it is in private hands. No private companies will continue paying redundant workers as is done by government today. It is simple private enterprises tend to be more efficient and profitable than government enterprises. The Nkrumah established factories were bound to die and they did.
