We have many intelligent young men in NPP capable of being president. If Akkufo Addo is not greedy, selfish, self-centred person, he would have back down and support one of the young men in NPP to fight for the presidency but because he lost all the money his father stoled from Ghanaians (you & me), he is fighting to get the presidency, and to steal more for his future generation but don't think of you and me. If the Al Hajj newspaper believes in its own words the almost certain likelihood of Nana Akuffo Addo becoming John Mahama's opponent in the 2016 presidential elections should gladden its heart. Behind the veil of the fierce scare mongering and tantrums is the intense fear and frustration of a possible Akuffo Addo run in 2016. The simple truth is, the NDC heavily leaning newspaper is well aware of Nana's potential threat and legitimate claim to the presidency especially in the face of Mahama's monumental failure in his first term as president.
The jaundiced comparison with John McCain is an attempt to throw dust in the eyes of ghanaians who're not too familiar with US politics. John McCain lost to his fellow Senator because of his hawkish neo-con stance and secondly his poor choice for Vice President in the person of the fumbling and bumbling ex governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. War weary Americans elected Obama because he is one of the few senators who were opposed to the Iraq war before its inception and voted against the war euphoria which had gripped the Bush administration. Had McCain been president america would have been fighting futile wars in Iran, Syria, Egypt and lately Crimea. Americans for the first time chose peace over war in the rejection of the war monger.

Useless as a filthy rag, he plunged the nation into a state of hopelessness. Did he not promise the youth good leadership? Woeful failure stares him in the face, and Ghanaians have learned their lessons. So it's not a question about age at all. It's about competence, desire, zeal, crave, perfect leadership, to make things happen. This slothful attitude exhibited by the Northern Bull who calls himself president, is sickening, annoying, untolerable. In short, we need Akufo-Addo to fix the economy. Al-Hajj, has it come to your notice, the rate at which people comment on the numerous grammatical errors that always typify your articles? This is what you must be striving to avoid, than striving to undermine Nana, pull him down. For instance, in the last but one paragraph, which reads: "Nana Akufo-Addo has announced his 'intension' to again pursue his...", the correct spelling is 'intention'. The word has no 's'. Again, the last paragraph, which reads: "... possibly make another history by 'been' sworn into office at the age 73, that is if he wins". The right word is 'being', not 'been'. How can a so-called credible newspaper make such silly grammatical errors and won't even notice it?
