We only see him when its time for elections. Allan will never ever be NPP flagbearer. He belongs to ndc. Let him remain there. Has he ever criticized the ndc before. We are no fools.

This will for propaganda against Nana in 2016. One good reason why we should change our flagbearer because he is carrying too much baggage.

This is a very intelligent piece. The best I have read on the NPP flagbearership analysis. Please circulate this article and keep it posted for a long time. I agree with you perfectly. It will be a big mistake for the NPP to present Akuffo Addo again. It will reduce the presidential elections to issues about his personality and age instead of national issues. He has been rejected twice by the king makers ( floating voters) so why do we think it will be any different in 2016. From my little research with independent voters in the central region their problem with Nana is his diminutive stature and personality and these are things that do not change. Nana popularity within the NPP has meant very little in the last 2 elections and it will mean nothing in the next. I know many delegates are beggining to change their minds about voting for Nana and I pray most of them change their minds by the time the flagbearership contest is due. I agree that Alan may be NPPs best chance for resounding one touch victory in 2016. Nana Addo fans are engaging in a lot of wishful thinking with no evidence to back most of their arguments. God bless Nana Addo, God bless Alan and God bless the NPP

I supported him in his first bid and to a lesser extent his second but certainly not this time round. The guy and his supporters in the party are so stubborn and refusing to do the honourable thing. Besides, he has no killer policies to sell to the electorate any more now that his free shs policy has been hijacked by the NDC.

Does anyone remember Obama girl? More women voted for Obama simply for his looks. Alan has the same effect. Not only that, the guy makes a lot of sense whenever he opens his mouth on prevailing issues. The delegates should not sleepwalk this time into another disaster.

His electoral fortunes also appear to be dwindling. We need a stronger candidate. Only a fool does not change his mind when the facts are starring you in the face. NPP should not engage in wishful thinking that Nana will beat Mahama in 2016. We need a candidate whose personality and posture can match that of Mahatma because it looks like our illiterate voter population value these qualities more than competence.
