  We do not need this crap. History is meant to teach us lessons not to remind us and suggest we lay the blame on UP or CPP or what have you. This writing is not worth publishing because it is offensive to decent readers. We are one people with one history, good or bad and we rise and fall together.Ashantis may call northerners and Ewes and Gas names, but northerners and Ewes and Gas do the same. One thing should be made clear; not all Ashantis call others names and not all Ewes call Ashantis names and so on and so forth. We have extremists in every human group and they do not represent the larger group nor speak for them. Please away with extremist views. Ghana is one nation. The beauty is that we can joke and call each other 'bro', 'Bono'
  pepe, Kambonga etc but better still we can learn to do away with any condescending attitudes and live as one people. Look most of my good friends do not come from my ethnic group and how beautiful our nation, Nananom, various tribes and people have been and still are. I live in Kumasi and admire the great King of Ashanti and his love for all living in his Kingdom.Ashantis are just beautiful and good entrepreneurs, so are Ewes who are very artistic, I can say a lot of good things about all the other tribes.   I feel so sorry for you. You have been wired not to think independently. What more can we expect from a young pioneer trained at the Winneba Nkrumah Ideological Institute by Soviet trained instructors? Who, in his right mind, will pay any heed to the stale rantings a senile old man who 50 years ago saw nothing wrong with reporting his parents to the security agencies on false charges just to promote and preserve a Soviet inspired communist ideology? No amount of garbage from your pen will succeed in changing the minds of discerning ghanaians about Nkrumah's dictatorship and his failed personal political ambitions. There's too much at stake today to be bothering peace lovers' ears with ugly noises manufactured from the propaganda house.
  It's unbelievable how you're trying so hard to accuse Ashantis of tribalism when you're the one making desperate attempts to sow the seeds of discord between Ashantis and the other tribes. Peace lovers don't spend all their time searching for ways to antagonize and ostracize their opponents. Peace is achieved when opponents sit at table to dialogue together. Waging a relentless media war against your opponents is as reckless as it's stupid. It's sn exercise in futility.

We are all old enough to remember what happened during those dark days in Ghana where bomb throwing by a section of the populace was the order of the day. Truth hurts but it must be told for the future generation know what happened in our past in order not to repeat it anymore. So Comrade Sangaparee keep up your good works for not all will accept you especially the demagogues will crucify you for telling the truth.

You were throwing bombs every where. Did Kulungugu happen?Did bombs explode at the Accra Stadium? Were factories abandoned or closed. So what has brain washing got to do with this?

The Ashantis in Obuasi have tolerated your bad mouthing from their backyard for this long because of who they're as a people. Contrary to what you say of them they're a very tolerant and peace loving people. Do you believe an ashanti living among northerners in the north could speak so derogatorily about them and survive for as long as you have on ashanti soil? Shame on you, ingrate from the north.

The first 5 people who commented on this were very bitter about what you wrote but the question I want to asked them is have you said anything contrary to what is known in the history books? were bombs thrown or not and did innocent people die or not. You are still blaming Nkrumah for J.B Danquah's death. Gabby and Arthur K were here writing on Nkrumah's cruelty and intolerance, where were you guys to tell them that they were divisive. Now when your dirty dirty laundry is being revealed, you are crying foul in the name of peace. Ghana is enjoying peace because we are all not like you and your cohorts.   People do not believed that Danquah/Busia tradition still exist. Some will even deny its atrocity and negative impact on Ghana for political reasons. But until this tradition is fully brought to the round table by the leaders of NPP, openly discourage it and see its disappearance through the deeds of its followers, our nation will always move from bad to worse. We can chose to incarcerate the chapter on the past negativity that Danquah/Busia tradition reverberates as we try hard to rebuild and come out victorious. But the profligacy its has imputed in to the orchestrated NPP and made them parade with so much malice is threatening the core of the country's future. Even today as we speak, the newly elected NPP leaders represent the new face of the party but ideally, judging from its vast tribal line, it's continuation of Danquah/Busia tradition. The NPP is the main opposition party but largely a tribal party and seems to be doing nothing to break the tribalism tag hang on its neck. That is where I fear. We have seen NPP in power before and we can vividly remember and re-counts the role Ashantehene played in the administration of our country,faultless citizens eg. Francis Poku, NPP own Information minister fleeing to exile,Richard Annani tangle with the Ghana airways and looting Ghana's money saga, cocaine saga that sent NPP minister to jail in U.S.A, Hotel "de wawa", Renovation of Kufuor's private house saga, high unemployment rate that pushes the youth in to "sakawa", the NTC loan saga, the serial killings, armed robbery, Ghana @ 50 saga, Public property been taken by ministers of state under the pretext of buying them, very cheap, mysterious death of some seating ministers of state, Assassination of the deputy Governor of Bank of Ghana, the ex-gracia among others.We will always remember. I am not holding breath for the NDC, but for now, it is NPP that we are talking about so I will limit all my comment to the NPP. We need to build a solid opposition party that will provides us with alternative and I see NPP failing the country on that grounds by toning the path of Danquah/Busia tradition. God Bless Ghana.

Meet any tall Asante like you know "who"? and asked him/her to trace his/her roots and you would be surprised to find out that his father may be "tani". Oh, yes, it is an open secrete. It annoys me to hear these Asantes calling Northerners "Tafo, tafo" all the time while in reality most of their fathers are Tafo or from the North.

And their ideology is not different in substance. They are both corrupt, reactionary, neo-colonial and anti-Nkrumahist. Indeed, NDC is the party that has done the most damage to the industrial infrastructure and enterprises that Nkrumah bequeathed us - over 300 destroyed, pillaged or given away to cronies and foreign accomplices, with Rawlings stealing two factories for his wife. The coup party, NDC, fully supports the 1966 coup against Nkrumah, as Rawlings has stated in the past, and continues honouring the traitor. Kotoka, as the name of our only international airport.
