Nana should take these truants to court to exact toll on them like Addo Kufuor did to Kobby Fiagbe who later apologize else, nothing will stop these vagabonds from coming out with lies about Nana.

People like this Community College Prof. who causes Nana Addo a lot of grief! Rather than making a simple suggestion for the gloves to come off, this 'wise guy', who is too full of himself, goes on to insult his kinsman. Little wonder the Afuffo Addo camp wants nothing to do with this impudent imposter, who thinks he knows it all! After all, why would the man invest time and other resources in achieving a lifetime ambition of becoming President of this Ghana if he does not take "himself and his mission seriously"?

Kwame,
I totally agree with you about the Akufo-Addo/NPP communication system. I am not exactly sure what they are about. Since Election 1992, the NDC has been spewing garbage and vitriol against individuals and the NPP. All they do is to issue lame denials.
Today, Mahama is lying through his teeth that he was on the same side as Nana on the "Free SHS thing!" I am sure he is going to get away with this plain-faced lie.
If you have been reading Justice Sarpong's revelations about President Mahama and his brother Ibrahim, you may have to join Justice to fight the corner of Nana Akufo-Addo, if he should have a dog's chance of ever succeeding!

Okoampa, please speak to Nana before you churn out advice or articles in the public domain. Nana is an astute lawyer. If he wants to go to court for libel or defamation, he will.

'Democrat', the Professor is only expressing his opinion. He has the right to do so, and there is some invaluable admonishment in his piece for the Akufo-Addo Camp.
Even though I am no fan of Akufo-Addo's, and not particularly fond of the Professor, I can see the wisdom in the Professor's advice.
In fact, I am surprised at the seeming tacit fear of the Professor's that the response he wrote about could reflect a certain arrogance in Akufo-Addo's Camp. This is because Opponents of Akufo-Addo have long accused him of insufferable arrogance for which the Electorate should reject the twice-defeated Presidential candidate yet again.
I think the Professor's choice of words in describing the apparent lack of seriousness in Akufo-Addo's Camp plays into the hands of the latter's political Opponents.
While the Professor's frustration with the Akufo-Addo's Camp is understandable, he could have called the referenced faux-pas by that camp "Complacent" or a similar milder description than "arrogance".
Arrogance is much too strong a despised description with which Akufo-Addo's Opponents would gladly jump on to whip the Presidential candidate.
This is why we all ought to temper our emotions with deeper reflection when uttering anything to express our mind on issues. We may well be hurting our cause with what we say, rather than helping it.
However, the suggested lack of seriousness associated with Akufo-Addo's Camp touches on something I have way far long before now claimed to be a reason why the Electorate should never consider him for the Presidency. I detected Akufo-Addo's aloofness in handling serious issues since his tenure as the Attorney-General. His handling of various cases intricately attached to the Nation's core aspirations raised many questions on his purpose for and effective capacity in seeking the Presidency. Then came the infamous "Yen Akanfo de.. 'all die, be die' " utterances of his that drew so much criticism, but he failed to offer sustained fervent response.
Besides, with the rising exchange of bigotted remarks from both the Opposition and incumbent Party elements, I had long expected Akufo-Addo to take the initiative to direct the Nation away from Ethnocentric politics but he never came through with any noticeable encouragement for, at least, his side to refrain from such Nation-wrecking behavior.
Such passivity from an 'astitute Lawyer' that Nana is, as claimed by the commentator I am now responding directly to, weighs very heavily on the mind of many patriots. The choice of Bawumia for his running-mate does not adequately address the question of Nana's commitment to our National unity and coalescent sense of purpose. Yes, the failings of the current Administration are obvious but the aloofness in Akufo-Addo is scarier to many. He has to work assiduously for the Presidency. He must not act like it is his inheritance to take. The Nation does not owe any individual that much as to dole the Presidency to him or her. We are not in the business of installing National Monarchs.
