You were only praying that Sir John would be retained, which never happened, thanks be to God. That is the start of greater things to happen. It has only taken bold people like you in the NDC to say things they were they are. I admire about you Ahmed is your frankness and resolve to speak the truth. So far, I think you're the most sensible, positive-minded, levelheaded and down-to-earth person I've ever known in this corrupt-infested party called NDC. Who in your party today will admit that the NPP is now a force to reckon with? They are just going round insulting anybody who dares to point a finger at govt. When people like Alban Bagbin, Martin Amidu and even the founder, JJ spoke the truth about the party, they were insulted, vilified and denigrated by people within the party. What NDC didn't do was crucify them. Ghanaians can't be taken for fools this time round. The NDC should forget it, no matter how desperately loud you cry and how tirelessly hard you try. Pride and haughtiness has taken the better part of Ministers of State, the president himself being no exception. Such things as complacency, vainglory, apathy, incorrigible behavour are likely to cause your downfall, although poor governance will play a major factor.
