I wonder if a British would go this far just to drive home a point about a great personality.
  
  Mr. Kwarteng's peer in this instance is Okoampah Ahoofe, who goes overboard in trying to deliver his message. What we ( who patronise Ghanaweb) want from you guys is a simple way of expressing yourselves so that students can grasp some knowledge, wisdom, and above all the ability to think deep and ask intelligent questions!   John decided to go hunting with his buddy, Keith. So they loaded up John's minivan and headed north.
  
  After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible rainstorm. So they pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night.
  
  'I realize it's terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I'm recently widowed,' she explained. 'I'm afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house.'
  
  'Don't worry,' John said. 'We'll be happy to sleep in the shed. And if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light.' The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the shed and settled in for the night.
  
  Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way.
  
  They enjoyed a great weekend of hunting.
  
  But about nine months later, John got an unexpected letter from an attorney. It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined it was from the attorney of the attractive widow he had met on the hunting weekend.
  
  He dropped in on his friend Keith and asked, 'Keith, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our hunting holiday up north about 9 months ago?'
  'Yes, I do.', said Keith.
  
  'Did you happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?'
  
  'Well, um, yes!' Keith said, a little embarrassed about being found out, 'I have to admit that I did.'
  
  'And did you happen to give her my name instead of telling her your name?'
  
  Keith's face turned beet red and he said, 'Yeah, look, I'm sorry, buddy. I'm afraid I did.' 'Why do you ask?'

  The writer is evidently exploring new avenues of captivating his audience. That is very commendable; however, political satire is usually welcome in an environment where the level of education has minds trained to recognize leaders'/representatives' failings and/or missteps,on the one hand, and, on the other hand, to accept the criticisms that follow as a result of those misguided actions, or as is portrayed in this satire: the criticism of an unfortunate misrepresentation of some aspects of Ghanaian factual history, which by its sheer force, and to all intents and purposes, is meant to induce positive change.
  
  Especially here in Ghana, we are seemingly guilty of missing the boat when it comes to analyzing concrete criticism of our preferred role models and leaders. Therefore, a satiricil piece that should otherwise provide us with food for thought and action - despite its entertaining elements - could jolly well end up causing an even greater rift among us because we cannot stomach the truth: that our leaders are not infallible! Hence a little caution and a lot more compassion is recommended to the author as well as the readers.
