Kwame Nkrumah had to go to the rescue of our brothers and sisters in Guinea and Mali to bail them out because France their colonial power felt grievously offended and started to strangulate these two countries both economically and financially. The ONLY OFFENCE of our brothers and sisters in Guinea and Mali commited was to CRY FREEDOM. So Kwame Nkrumah had to step and help our fellow black men and women to shame the French government. And it worked. See, in 50's and 60's Ghana was at the vanquard of the liberation movement and that comes with responsibility. You Mate Mehu people are so daft and inward looking people it so shameful that you who boycotted Ghana's independence have even the nerve to question the humanitarian assistance Ghana gave to sister countries whose only crime was to ask or cry for the very thing Ghanaians were enjoying i.e. FREEDOM.

Is it not he same NATO member that are arming Islamic terrorist groups in Syria, acted with them on the battled field to overthrow Col. Murmur Ghadaffi. Ahootan's style of writing is in the first place tautology with no substance. He strings a couple of words tied together in the wrong place to be which does not add up in any way in written English.

Ahootan's trick is based first on suspicion, follows it with a rhetoric question(s) with obvious answer(s) to catch his untrained readers mind and set up speculations balanced with assertions which he supports with unknown writers like himself and then fire it up like a rocket.

In his junk above the Modus operandi is the same. Against the attacking is the best defense. He first goes about attacking whoever wrote the article that has peeved him and caused him some sleepless night lately.

He goes on from there to speculate and the becomes the medical examiner and coroner all in one Piece. Because he knows the least but shouts the loudest he only thinks smokers can only get lung cancer but not skin cancer. That is how daft this lowbrow Akyem dog is.

The CIA knew with Nkrumah in the country the coup makers would not succeed so he was sent to far away Asia. Nkrumah was overthrown on executive orders by President Johnson because Nkrumah was giving them hell during the cold war. Ahootan, if the presidential guard did not fight back were the over 1800 soldiers who died in the wake of the ill-fated 1966 coup from the moon? It was the worst coup in Ghana on records with so many casualties both civiklians and soldiers. Look Ahootan yesi yesi does not help. Those of us he lived it because we were living at Kanda can tell you the full Story. A day after the coup the looting began and on street in front of Ghana film industry and flag staff house were lying dead bodies and reels of film form GFI on the street.

The soldiers ransacked everything. Today we don't have any archive of films taken back then. Everything Nkrumah was destroyed and they ended up destroying Ghana’s history as well.

Busia did not allow Nkrumah back home because he was in a blue funk. Busia had not in any way a connection to Nkrumah; another lies to win sympathy for Busia. Ahootan portrays Danquah and Busia as if they were angels and could not even kill a fly. What sort of homburg is that. They were first class rogues. Another fact which Ahootan hid is about Maybel Danquah. In 1951 she jumped ship to join the CPP and became the first woman parliamentarian in Ghana. When Danquah failed to make the cut in 1954 elections in his Akyem backyard, Maybel Danquah on CPP ticket was again re-elected to be a parliamentarian. It was Maybel who passed on information to Nkrumah as to what these NLM terrorists were up to.

Yes there were members of CPP involved in 1964 kulugugu bomb attempt but that was not the only assassination attempt on Nkrumah. It started when NLM was formed by the chief linguist Bafoe Akoto. These NLM knaves swore to get rid of Nkrumah by hook or crook. By the way, Tawiah Adarmafio was a former UP member who jumped ship to climb his way into the CPP inner circles. But Tawiah Adarmafio wanted more than being a minister. One can feel sorry for Ako Adjei because he was lured into the whole crime by Tawiah Adarmafio whose UP background was known to him so he ended up being a culprit too.

Ahootan ends his Ananse story by telling his readers how heartless Nkrumah treated his ardent admirer Danquah who was given a five star ward at Nsawam and why Nkrumah deserves to die abroad. Heroes come and go but legends live forever. Nkrumah’s statue is at the forecourt of the AU in Addis Abeba due to his great works and will remain there until thy kingdom come. Nkrumah lives!

Thank you Mike, but I think we should all stop listerning to these children of terrorist organisations, the Mate meho/UP, because their condemnation of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah have been indoctrinated by their ancestors from the early centuries, and that there`s nothing that can remove that from their cracy brains. We shouldn`t blame them because they are all blind spiritually so they don´t see anything Osagyefo did and was planning doing for Ghana. Hadn´t been Nkrumah with his 5 years development plann that gave us, numerous factories, Tema township, the Tema Harbour, Motoway, Akosombo Dam, the Bui Dam on plann, Tema Oil Refinnery, the Valco, Schools, Hospitals, surelly Ghana would have been in darkness till today.

"And here, it is significantly instructive to observe that none of the myriad putsches and coup detats have been staged by any other than bona fide members of the Ghanaian military. Granted, some rascal civilians are known to have staunchly backed regressivley Darwinian means of political access, including a world-renowned University-educated former prime minister. Interestingly, in July 1956, when President Nkrumah's Convention People's Party (CPP) won a landslide victory, Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia rode herd on a delegation to the British office in London, to petition the British Crown, and Ghana's extant colonial overlord, to desist from granting the already-scheduled return of Ghana to self-governance. Fortunately, Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia and his right-wing bourgeois reactionaries did not succeed. He would, however, succeed ten years later in backing the military junta that unseated the Nkrumah administration and facilitated the precipitous devolution of Ghanaian national destiny.

Indeed, it is interesting to observe that Ghana's major and, to-date, only international airport is named for General E.K. Kotoka, the very Darwinian outlaw who spearheaded the grossly unimaginative overthrow of the constitutionally elected government of the CPP. For many detractors and outright enemies of Nkrumah, Kotoka's greatest—if also sole—achievement was simply getting rid of an elected dictator. It has often been said, largely by Western academics, that Nkrumah was a heartless and fatuous dictator; these days, one hears Mr. Jerry John Rawlings, the career soldier who ran Ghana for twenty harrowing incontrovertibly bloody years, described as a "benign dictator." It is significant to observe that Mr. Rawlings, whose agnatic parentage is purported to be Scottish, presided over the dastardly kidnapping and summary execution of three Ghanaian supreme court judges, all of whom belonged to a single ethnic nationality.

When one agrees with the Western ideological mythology that Nkrumah was a raw-boned dictator bereft of vision, then it begins to make sense that Kotoka's statue should continue to command the august facade of Accra International Airport, thus perpetually humiliating those of us who incurably believe in democratic governance. Needless to say, the 1966 Kotoka-led coup initiated the barbaric, neo-colonial military dynasty that Ghanaian continue to suffer….

That Ghana's post-colonial political dilemma transcends military dictatorship cannot be honestly gainsaid. In fact, many of the most vociferous civilian opposition party leaders, some of whom are currently sitting in parliament, representing misguided and hoodwinked constituents, are known to have collaborated with Kotoka's so-called National Liberation Council to unseat President Nkrumah. It is also significant to observe that these largely superannuated rascals and executive national, fiduciary muggers continue to dominate whatever passes by the name of "the legitimate opposition." This state of affairs, coupled with a largely under-educated and under-informed electorate, has made it almost impossible to rectify the prevailing socioeconomic chaos ravaging the country.”

Weren't you in this country when a major earth quake hit Haiti & when they pleaded for assistance,many countries including Ghana under the late Prez.Atta Mills out of sympathy, brotherliness & the love for mankind,gave Haiti few Thousands of dollars to ameliorate their plight? Will you also accuse the late prez. Mills for offering that amount of money to Haiti whilst we then has our own financial problems to solve? Time will tell.

Every good thing or edifice we have in this country including plans yet to take off were mooted during Nkrumahs time with him as the main driver of the idea or architect. In any case we get the leaders we deserve! Please stay in your US where no relative of yours who ever lived on planet earth contributed to what it is today and continue reaping where u have not sown. My wish is that people like you will one day be deported so you can come and implement your theoritical ideas that can only work in places where others have put full structures in place and u only sit in as a passenger and claim ownership!!
