Of course, they know the problems and with the many experts at their disposal, they also know what to do, however, they know the political implications so the idea of a NEF is to spread the blame when the people scream. In other words instead of the ruling party taking the blame they would say this was agreed upon by all parties. I am sure they would discuss things like EPA etc. You see Mahama does not have the guts to do the right thing for the country for fear of the backlash. I see this meeting more as a trap than anything else.
