Have you forgotten when Dauda was making all those great saves for you and Kwarasey kept fumbling? because someone's career is not going as great does not mean he does not have the ability, potential and experience to be awesome as he was.

One thing we have to remember is that the world cup is different from the qualifying matches. The world cup is about the cream of players in the various countries of the world. Hence palyers who are in form and playing day in and day out are to be considered. If you look at Nasir of Manchester City who has been left out of the French team then this should tell us that the world cup is a serious business. The only problem is we lack quality goalkeepers and strikers. Hence the obsession of Kwasi Appiah with the likes of Dauda.

We want Rashid or Akaminko to play from right full back? What is the use of calling Afful and Danny Opare? Is those two you mentioned better than the two who already play that position for us? Inkoom is rusty because of his recent bench warming for his club. Therefore, I totally agree with the analysis on Inkoom. However, to bring our back-up center backs to replace our main full-backs, doesn't make sense to me. Yes, Essien could be brought to play there when it becomes critical. This will reduce the midfielders by one.

To me, Inkoom will find it hard to make the final squad because he hasn't been playing competitive matches lately. He is a hard working player but fitness will be his obstacle here.

Midfielders, Adormah is in a difficult situation. We have Dede, Atsu and Kevin who can play that position better than he could. I tip him to fall off the final squad.

This means, two players players are out and one to go for us to have our 23 required.

Hitting the strikers, Jordan Ayew's performances with both clubs are not enough to overtake Asamoah Gyan, Kevin Prince Boateng, Abdul Majeed Warris and David Titi Accam.

This is what I think will become our final squad.

Also not all goo goalkeepers are big and tall. Simon Minoylet of Liverpool is not your average tall keeper. De Gea of Man U is tall but not big and yet both keepers are among the best in the world.
It is true that these two players may well not be good for the black stars but don't overcook it with fraud analysis. Ghana suffer from so called intellectuals who use false premise to deceive people and it is shameful.

Although I do not totally agree with the writer because I think Dauda is a good back up based on his AFCON 2013 performance, I do agree that Inkoom was the cause of that Zambia goal and his lack of height was a problem with the Tunisia goal. Inkoom is talented but he might actually be someone who plays as a right wing in certain situations. In a game where we are playing a short opponent and speed might be critical. (i.e. South Korea). I think different line ups will be needed in different games.

Rashid caused a penalty too, but I think that Egyptian player, Salah, added some acting to deceive the referee, so I wouldn't totally blame Rashid for that penalty. John Mensah played for many years, and I don't remember him giving away any penalty. In my opinion, anyone who gives away penalties should not be in the first team. It's unfortunate Mensah and Vorsah are not fit, and we have to make do with these second hand defenders.

You got it right on the money when you stated that Dauda and Inkoom should be dropped. I have made numerous posts about the physical attributes that a world class goalie have to possess. As you rightly stated, Dauda does not possess these attributes, I am therefore bemused that he is again selected. Adam Kwaresey is the nearest goslie we have that resembles a world class goalkeeper who is also in good form, something that we cannot say for Dauda. If KA can find another player to replace Inkoom, great as his lack of height will be brutally exposed by the likes of Ronaldo at each opportunity. The WC is just as important to us all as it is for K Appiah. We have a team strong enough to beat any team in our group, if the right selection is made, I see no reason why the Black Stars will not get out of the group. Hope Nyantakyi and the coach take note of these important points that the author of this article has raised.

Modern day soccer simply makes this requirement an imperative if we are to rub shoulders with the elite soccer nations.
