  ADDRESS THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM.WHEN EVERY SINGLE BUILDING IN ACCRA ,KUMASI ETC ARE UNIVERSITIES AND THESE LATER-DAY INSTITUTIONS KEEP CHURNING OUT/ MASS PRODUCING THOUSANDS OF UNEMPLOYABLE YOUTHS, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?MOST OF THESE INSTITUTIONS ARE ONLY AFTER THE HUGE PROFITS THEY WOULD MILK FROM THE POOR STUDENTS. THERE IS VIRTUALLY A GHANA CAMPUS OF ALMOST EVERY US/UK TERTIARY INSTITUTION YOU CAN THINK OF, MEANWHILE, THE LOWER LEVELS OF THE EDUCATIONAL STRUCTURE IN THE COUNTRY ARE WEAK.WHY NOT ENCOURAGE MORE VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL INSTITUTIONS?

  Many citizens go on retirement and are able to manuva their way back into the job market as contract staff were the position should have been left vacant for the young graduates to ocupy,this in a way block thegab that others could occupy and keeps our employmentlevel at a stand still and the unemployment continuou to rise.so mr president please take a careful look at this to solve oyr unemployment problem for us.

  Currently, the economy has been left to the control by the private investors but it should be noted that profit maximization,not job creation, is the objective of the private investor.
  Therefore, the government should allow the private investor to operate as is happening now, but the government should also intervene in another sector of the economy with the sole objective of implementing projects approved by the National Development Planning Commission with the sole objective of creating jobs not necessarily maximizing profit.
  
  In some capitalist countries, governments intervene in the economy to undertake projects to achieve an objective; for example, OBAMACARE in USA.
  
  If the government in interested in this approach, I shall provide details.
  
  Unemployment will remain a problem unless the government musters courage and intervenes in the economy because private investors do not create jobs.
