Today, he still thrives on those wild allegations he periodically makes against his opponents. And a mass of his followers do not do the type of analyses they are doing here on behalf of him. They are not asking what proof he has, or what due process he offered for those he killed and imprisoned. They assume that once Rawlings says someone is a criminal, then the person is. They also assume some good things on behalf of the man which they will never assume for his enemies.
It is pointless to debate the merits of any claim against any politician through this cacophonous partisan prism where views are ideologically colored. Rather, we must learn to apply the notion of "not guilty unless proven to be culpable" for both our enemies and loved ones. The modicum of respect I have for him is how he has been able to outwit and hoodwink an entire nation for several years. He however has never been able to tell itchy ghanaian ears his rags to riches story. From the deafening silence are emerging tell tale signals of a cover-up. Why does he refuse to tell ghanaians how he financed his children's education in some of the most expensive schools in the western world after destroying Ghana's education system?
