Sadly after this affair with the criminal PV we are now reviewing our position on Nana as it seems his moral values are deeply perverted since he idolizes PV. We want a country where all have equal opportunity , guaranteed justice and freedom , any leader without the courage and integrity to ensure this is not our choice and we shall eventually make war on all such fake impostors who sell us short . Alan has good chances because he is half fanti half ashanti but we are yet to hear what he truly stands for . no point in replacing one group of criminal mafiosi with another but we need to continue the fight for freedom and justice for all irrespective of where they are from and who they are . yes bits all about equal rights and justice , not political affiliation or ideology or even tribal bias . Unfortunately the minority tribes such as the ewes , northerners and the rest have so perverted and destroyed the potentials of our people we need to remain vigilant and properly scrutinize them before entrusting them with any institution of state . only mafiosi weep and cry for other mafiosi , the rest of the people feel relief and know God is punishing these political corrupt oligarchy and evil ones. PV and its seems many like him did not repent or ask for forgiveness for the evil they did during their dictatorship which poisons even today any attempt at proper development . All they do is serve us propaganda , lies , hatred of the Akans and perverse morals like gay sodomy . may the wrath of God be visited upon them a thousand times . They have no solutions or event genuine intentions to raise the standard of our people , create jobs and industry , ensure justice and peace or fix the economy . This political elite it seems is so selfish and amputated from the worries and needs of the people that all they do is come and talk shit while looting the little that is left so the cedi continues to dive . This is not a new thing within these party, the history tells us that the Mate meho party formed to split themselves from working with Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in Ghana collapsed, due to violence and misunderstanding among them with Busia forming his own Ghana Congress party, Northern Peoples Party with Mumuni Bawumia as flagbearer, then Ashanti Youth Association (AYA), then Islam Party etc, etc, untill Kwame Nkrumah asked them to join and form one viable party to face CPP in parliament. After joining together and form one party called United Party (U.P), the Ashantis never agreed choosing Danquah as Flagbearer but instead Busia, and Danquah had to find himself somewhere els.

I fail to comprehend why the best is often trashed and maligned so much and treated as never good enough to rule this country whilst jokers and mediocres are often given the nod on account of very mundane and the silliest of reasons like 'He's handsome; he's young'.
Rawlings was chosen over Adu Boahen in 1992 because some ghanaians said at the time that the mulatto was the more handsome of the two. That alone influenced their choice even when they had been gifted with hindsight and a preview of what a future Mr Rawlings presidency would look like . What did we get in return for making the bad choice, for the childish reason used to determine who should occupy the highest position in the land? The answer is we reaped the wind.
The problem is we never seem to learn even after shooting ourselves in the foot on several occasions. We repeat the mistakes time and time again and keep getting the same results.
Mahama was also elected because his main asset was his youthfulness. Has that exuberance of youthfulness helped in any way to transform the lives of ghanaians? As would be expressed poignantly by our Nigerian brothers 'Na youthfulness we go chop"?. Handsomeness or youthfulness has never been and will never be enough determining factors to elect a president. If we think highly of that office and its importance to an entire nation we will use a lot of circumspection when considering who should be president.
A real source of problem for Nana even within his own party is the issue of his incorruptible image. Sadly, corruption has succeeded in becoming the new norm, the means to the end, the new acceptable way of life for most ghanaians. Unfortunately corruption is not just a problem for only the people who identify with the NDC but for most ghanaians who happen to have acquired the taste for luxurious living but lack the lawful and legitimate means to sustain the new lifestyle. There are people in especially the NDC and the NPP who would hate to see Nana as president because they know he'd wage a relentless war against corruption and would deal ruthlessly against those tried and found guilty by a court of law. Nana will change the status quo, will uphold the rule of law and order and will be unforgiving towards transgressors of the law.
We have choices to make. Are we going to keep repeating our mistakes and suffer the consequences or we will pick the smart choice this time? Our destiny is in our own hands and the choices we make from today will determine if we learned any useful lessons from our previous choices and whether as a people we want to be counted as responsible stewards over all the human and natural resources God has endowed us with. We don't have the luxury of time. Time is of the essence. Past, present and future generations are looking up to us, the living, to make a difference.
Apart from Nana's professioal and academic qualifications, he has had many years of working experience and ethics. His integrity is impeccable and he has the motivation,the drive and the survival instinct to succeed where others have failed. He has the wisdom of old age and the wherewithal to re-shape the destiny of a struggling nation that has been brought down on its knees by reckless and greedy politicians.
