  Denis had said it all. He must be commended. I read with the disbelieve the state of our new stadium. I found it appauling. The fact is my long experience abroad (France)in their National Stadium where I work makes it difficult for me to accept it. By comparison Ghanaians can do the same thing or even better. We only need to bring some of them here for short courses to learn from them. They need refresher courses and the use of modern methods. Its cheaper to employ people to maintain the new facilities not only in stadium but everywhere including our airports. We can adopt their method to our local condiditions and improve upon them. Sports is one area where Ghana has modernised. We can still improve upon them. My experience in the VIP section here and elsewhere has helped me a lot. There is a fire department and security personnel (and many others) that work 24hrs 7/7 days a week just to keep the stadium in shape.

  After all the Black Star is the only team in Ghana that the sports authorities are interested in.The sports ministries,the sports minister,and the GFA are all created for the Black Stars and the players are not 'plying their trades' here in ghana so who cares. The 70 thousand dollars or so promised as bonus for each Black Stars players can fix almost all the maintenace problems in the Accra stadium.What can we say, because they say they are not going to listen to any body.

  Anytime I read articles about what is happening in Ghana I suddenly turn quiet and ask myself if there are really human beings with brains in their head taking care of simple and easy tasks that will promote sports and development? This is a no brainer.How can a whole ministry of sports and the national sports authority sit down peacefully and comfortable in these stadiums to watch games knowing that all these problems are deminishing the growth of sports in Ghana. A country with that rich sports culture should not sit down and allow these simple issues which can even be dealt with by junior high schoolers to drown the country. How difficult is it to apportion budget for maintenance and supervise to ensure that funds are put into great use to promote the face of Ghana and Africa as a whole in terms of sports development. These issues are disgusting and outrageous and makes me sick.
