Your relative Akuffo Addo isn't Presidential material. But not for his egoistic and egocentric attitde, he won't consider running again after losing twice. You can post all the rubbish you want in this forum. It will be suicidal for the NPP to present Akuffo Addo again. If they have any care for Ghana they won't make that stupid mistake. In the US that you reside, have you seen a losing Presidential candidate stand twice for their Parties?

Mr Okoampa should stop this Alan bashing and calling him "Quitman" for his 2008 resignation from Npp.
It was Okoampa ancestors who started this quiting business back in 1979 when even Nana Akuffo Addo joined his Uncle who quit PFP now NPP and formed UNC after Victor Owusu was chosen as the leader of PFP.
Not only did Okoampa Akyem Uncles quit PFP, they threw their support for Limann against Victor Owusu during the run off against their own party, PFP .
Even that has been forgiven. At least Alan did not campaign for Mills or Mahama.

As far as the USA is concerned, Richard Nixon ran against Kennedy in1960 and lost.
In ,1964 Republican Party ran Barry Goldwater against Democrat Johnson and lost after the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963 in Dallas, Texas. Just like Mahama assumed the Presidency in 2011 after the death of President Mills and won on sympathy votes.
In 1968, the Republicans brought Richard Nixon back to run against Democrat Hubert Humphrey who was a weakened candidate after Governor Wallace of Alabama broke from the Democratic party to run as a President due to the Black American political issue.
So in fact, Richard Nixon can be used as an example if you need one from USA.

So why was Mills defeated two times? Mills was 65 and dead, Akuffo is almost 70 and still living. Death does not go by age.

According to a list published by Ghanaweb, Forbes Africa today released a list of richest people in Ghana. Unsurprisingly, all of the men who made the list are heavily involved in politics. What message is this telling us younger folks? Think about that for a second.
According to the list the Mahama family which comprises of the current president and his two brothers (Alfred and Ibrahim) are worth over $3Billion which will make them the richest family in Ghana!
We doubt the authenticity of the report since we all know nobody declare their asset in Ghana, it is hard to really know how much one is worth.
Check out the list below:
20. Baba Kamara - $ 11million
19. Tony Lithur - 30million
18. Alfred Woyome - $75million
17. Asiedu Nketiah - $89million
16. Prince Kofi Amoabeng - $98million
15. Ken Agyapong - $104 million
14. Dr. Kwesi Nduom - $110 million.
13. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah -$112 million.
12. Tsatsu Tsikata - $245million
11. Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor - $250million.
10. Alex Mould - $282 million
9. Haruna Iddrisu - $300million
9. Haruna Iddrisu - $300million
9. Haruna Iddrisu - $300million
6. Alhaji Azuma Banda - $724 million.
5. John Mahama - $900 million
4. Joseph Agyepong - $1.05billion
3. Roland Agambire - $1.1billion
2. Alfred Mahama -$1.3 billion.
1. Ibrahim Mahama -$1.9 billion.

Okoampa is fighting a losing battle. He should provide answers to the questions and ought to apologise for the mistakes of his kinsmen. Instead of listening to his cousin's remarks about mud slinging, he is creating further divisions and contradicting himself.
How many times has Okoampa travelled to Ghana to campaign on behalf of Nana Addo? Does he have a vote?
Alan assisted Nana in cash and in kind. Nana has finally admitted Kufuor's support without mentioning figures. I challenge Okoampa to deny this. Nana will need all hands on deck if he wins the primaries. Unless Okoampa wants to fund his entire campaign, he should carry on the lies, half-truths and negative propaganda.

All I can see in your misguided article is prejudice and tribal sentiments. I will tell you what Ghanaians have risen above these cheep shorts it will not wash. I am not a fun of either of these men. I believe all Ghanaian politicians are selfish and currupt anyway. do claim to be a doctor I would have expected something more balanced than the one sided story you have written.
It is all well and good to challenge someones record. dont forget that Mr Addo was also a member of the Kuffour government which was also currupt.
If what you have written about this guy is true, I hope in your next article you will also publish the short falls of your prefared candidate Nana Addo who could not convince the Nation that he was competent enough to run the country.
You are setting your party up on tribal lines which is a recipee for disaster and failure.
I can tell you this for free but for your tribal divisions NPP could have won the last election. Stop dividing the nation on ashanti/ akyem lines. Ghana deserves better. We do not need these myopic "separatist" to derail our hard won democratic institutions.

Because of the arrogance and dishonesty of Akufo Addo and his supporters most of us are joining the Alan team. Let's form a group to support Alan or any other credible candidate to defeat this loser called Akufo Addo because another defeat in 2016 will be devastating for us. You are really a piece of work with your lies. Victor was not living with any 19 year old girl.
I first met Victor as an eight year old boy living in Krofrom(New Tafo) in 1978 near where the present Krofurim Police station is now opposite the Methodist Primary school. I continue to see Victor almost every week because at that time as young boys, we thought he was married to this beautiful Fante lady who has a bakery factory which shared a wall with the Krofurom Police station near the Roman Catholic Church there.
Victor at that time was living or have a house at African Bungalow near Mbrom Kumasi because me and this Fante lady's, whose name was "Anteeci" Ante Cici child, Victor jr. went to his house to pick up something that was in an Envelope from Victor to his mother.
As children, we called him Victor Jr because we thought that was Victor's son. This was the woman Victor Owusu was dating at that time and not any 19 year old girl.
You are really vicious with lies told to you by your callous uncles to justify why they did that to deny Victor the Presidency.

Close family friend called Auntie Kakra[nee Tamakloe]. She is the mother of Anis Farrar and his siblings. And I know for a fact that Auntie played a key role in securing the release of Victor from detention, when our good old college professor must have been in diapers!
Look, Victor has a beautiful petite daughter,Nana Boatemaa Owusu[Tarzan`s mate]who is mistakenly being referred to as his 19-yr old mistress by mischievious people, including Okoampa.
I am saying this because this woman who may have reached her retirement age, will easily pass for a 40-yr old beauty if you meet her now.
For the benefit of those who do not know,it is important to point out that Victor comes from the very respected and well-educated Agona Royal family line; and are direct descendants of the Great Komfo. Anokye. It is therefore highly inconceivable for him to have engaged in that kind of improper conduct at that time. The 'anything -goes- lifestyle' that is being shoved down our throats now,was a no,no back then. In any case, I also do not believe the late Mr. Owusu`s friends and family, particularly Auntie Christie, his sister, would have looked kindly to that kind of 'arrangement',while he was vying for the Office of President!

Was that really a mistake? Victor Owusu, as was everybody else in the PP in and outside government, was frustrated by the unnecessary insults on Busia and even his Ga wife, by Gas and Ewes in Accra and elsewhere (dwamm bii, Busia nabu, Naa Morkor this, Naa Morkor that). What he said to Dr Agama was a most fitting reply, in reaction to constant "uncivility"!
My own personal regret was the fact that Victor carried a whole sheep to the Volta Region, even after verbal apologies, whereas Agama, Rawlings, Tsatsu and others have never apologised for the insults they have heaped on Akans.
Yes, had originators of the the PFP not selfishly derailed Victor Owusu's presidential aspirations, the state of development of Ghana would have been very different today. It was no different from what Alan Kyerematen did in 2008 and 2012.
The truth of the matter is that that PFP-UNC infraction has never really been forgiven by either side. The late Mr da Rocha served as a bridged that papered over the cracks!

Genesis way back to the 'tension'days, where opposition elements like Victor, B.F Kusi and others, who never went into exile ,and were not directly involved in the plots to overthrow Nkrumah and the CPP, were viewed with some amount of disdain. And what I will call the ' old guard faction' particularly some who came from the Ashanti region, strogly resented the fact that Victor, who had earlier been released from dentention by Nkrumah, had been able to use his leadership skills,as well as his natural connections to the Manhyia Palace, to emerge as Busia`s lieutenant, not only in the region, but also the entire govt. Many new and promising politicians of the time, like Messrs J.A Kuffour,KP Agyekum[all from KCC], H.H Kofi Sackey,Dr. Selby, Antwi- Agyei, K.G Osei-Bonsu etc, were all proteges of Victor. So yes, the resentment was there from the very begininng, and I have even heard grumblings alledging that Victor was to be blamed for the elevation of Kutu Acheampong to the key position of O/C of the 2nd Infantry Brigade in Kumasi, over the objections of veterans like Mr. Kwesi Lamptey, the then Defence Minister, and a staunch member of the 'old guard'.
You see, Victor`s fate was sealed when R.R Amponsah,a Mampong native, and Justice Adade, finally convinced Afrifa to dump him, and partner Paa Willie`s group[the dominant force of the breakaway group] to form the UNC,which was never a bona fide Asante party, the way our prof, would have us believe. The UNC was essentially an 'old guard' association, that had resented Victor`s dominant influence in the previous PP govt.

If you have been reading my columns on the subject, you wouldn't be asking such a no-brainer question.
Victor was a UGCC defector to CPP and back again; he was too arrogant and untrustworthy.

Election 2012 was stolen by the NDC but the NPP was certainly caught on the wrong foot, second-guessing every election role player, including their own party officials. It was an opportunity well squandered and the least said about it the better.
The disputed election leaves the party no wiggle room in 2016. For the NPP there has to be a well planned winning strategy which must exclude roles for the likes of Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten. His record is not worth the paper it's written on. With a poor work history, the rubbish that spews from his mouth once a while, his biggest liabilities yet hover around loyalty and trustworthiness .
If Alan is being a realist and true to himself Mr Cash would not and could not buy his way through his party's primaries. The perennial bad performers, NDC, are praying fervently to be gifted with the presidential candidacy of Alan. Nana they know and there's nothing more to say about him that has not been already said. As for Alan Kyeremanten he's a sure-fire name train-wreck waiting to happen and for the NPP, Alan's candidacy is a sure-fire way to dole out yet another winable election to the worst administration we've ever had in the history of the nation.

THE REASONS FOR THE LOSS OF BOTH 2008 AND 2012 ELECTIONS ARE:
1. NANA ADDO GIVING MONEY TO MUSICIANS INSTEAD OF PARTY MEMBERS.
2. NANA ADDO DOING CAMPAGN ON PLATFORM INSTEAD OF DOOR- TO - DOOR.
3. NANA ADDO PRETENDING TO LOVE THE POOR THOUGH HE NAS NEVER HELPED ANY POORMAN.
4. NANA ADDO ENGULFING HIMSELF WITH HIS FAMILY MEMBERS AT THE PINACCLE OFTHE PARTY.
5. NANA ADDO IMMORAL CHILDHOOD AND ADULT BEHAVIOURS.
6. NANA ADDO DISRESPECTING THE SENIOR MEMBERS OF THE PARTY
7.NANA ADDO COULD NOT PASS COMMON ENTRANCE
8. NANA ADDO GOT THIRD CLASS AT LEGON

The nonsense and stupid rattling as usual. The usual incoherent crap. If Allan Kyeremanten finds it difficult to accept defeat, what about your foolish, useless and good for nothing cerificateless drug addict, Akufo Addo? Until we get this hopeless Akufo Addo and the tribal idiots like you Ahoofe from the npp, the party,no matter what, will remain in opposition. It is lunatics like you and your Akufo Addo who are the problems the party has got to deal with. Naniama. Bush pig! Has Akufo Addo finished solving the issues of the stolen diplomatic passports? What about the reasons for his disgraceful sacking from Oxford? What about the rleased of convicted drug criminals, who were serving sentences in jail? The list goes on. This is the charatcer that wants to rule over Ghana. Stupid follish lunatic like you.

I don't believe in the intellectual capacity of Nana Addo because he failed to explain how he was going to fund his free shs.He was given another chance at the IEA presidential debate to make his case,he failed again despite the help Mahama gave to him.Again, his position on the Ivory Coast crisis is worrisome.First he wanted Ghana to intervene with troops of which President Mills refused with the famous "dze yo fie asem".As if these are not damaging enough,he went on at the IEA debate to say Ghana Govt is harbouring rebells who often go to cause problem in Ivory Coast.I wonder what went up into his head to make such devastating statement. As for me,I don't see how Nana Addo could solve our problem if he is elected.Thank you.
