Ken is the MAN i have always said so even though he is much milder than most of us and is in my opinion too tolerant of the foolishness of this political useless oligarchy destroying the country . Mahama and NDC can never do the right thing as they are burdened by their tribalism and corrupt souls . They think winning election gives them the right to the spoils of war so they can loot and ransack anything they can lay their hands on but they forget you got to actually do battle and shed blood first . coup de tats do not justify such wanton pillage and the sooner we organize our bloody uprising the better

The Prof's double-negative usage of "untrue" and "had not been" at the top of that quoted excerpt nearly threw me off his line of argument. But I gave him a pass on that as I realized how common we often mentally choose between competing methodologies to make a point but we slip over a rejected option that we might ought to have deleted.

In this case, I think the Professor intended to type "untrue" with "had been", as his argument was to suggest that Akufo Addo was only being diplomatic to shelve the fact that the former President really had been "deviously and covertly partisan against" Akufo Addo.

Well, I am more surprised at the seeming ambivalence of the Prof's in trying to force Nana Akufo Addo to accept that Kufuor ditched him, Nana, for another contestant to help win the previous Elections, and yet the Prof expects the NPP members to democratically support whoever they want. What is so wrong with Kufuor preferring some other contestant than Nana? What kind of special relationship existed between Kufuor and Nana that makes the Prof think Kufuor owes Nana some loyalty in the primaries?
