  I think your argument that seem to suggest that social recognition comes only from attaining a level of higher education is not only unfortunate but false. Look around the world and compare the numbers if what you are asserting is anywhere near the truth. For someone to gain social recognition in his/her community, the person must have done something worth recognising by that community. As a result, you can be an excellent academician but if the community thinks that in spite of your academic laurels you are a mean and unfriendly person, for instance, no one will respect and accord you any social recognition. The opposite can also happen so please don't make claims or assertions that have nothing to do with national football players.

  Your profiling skills are twisted and nonsensical. These guys are probably more disciplined than us poor and unpopular folks, because they are always in the lime light, and we expect them to be role models, even when we are sowing our wild oats.
  
  An aaverage male in any socisty goign through life, especially academic life would probably go through at least 3 relationships and at most 10 relationships before they settle down.
  
  A poor farmer or fisherman, would probably impregnate at least 3 different women before he becomes senile!
  
  If you have nothing to write about, tell some ananse stories.

  I thought you were going to make a proper psychological and social analysis of the fates of footballers. But what we see here seems like something written out of envy for the successful footballers.
  
  Ghanaian footballers are not one of a kind. Their behaviour is not different from those of other football stars in other countries. What is the real difference between them? You could have analysed that.
  
  Since long, there have been famous Ghanaian players who fell on bad times. What has changed from then to now? What is the GFA doing for old players? What prospects do they have?
  
  What are the training opportunities for our footballers? What other skills do they acquire when they are in the training schools? How do their clubs (both home and away) help them to cope with life during retirement? For instance, how many of them are made to take coaching licences before their career ends?
  
  Football can make certain individuals rich but it is still basically a working class sport (unlike golf, tennis or cricket). But because there is so much money in it now, many people are involved. Even if a footballer has not gone high in school but succeeds, there are managers, coaches, and others who take care of them and guide them. How well do they respond to such things?
  
  You didn't consider all these things. You were only interested in the lives they enjoy with beautiful girls.
