Big Man your advice may be good but like Marcelo of Brazil,Kojo Asamoah's presence can be felt at any position. We have a lot upfront to ignore players like Jordan, Kevin Prince, Sulley, Agyeman Badu, Atsu etc.

You made some good points, but I disgree with your selection. Afriyie Acquah is an up and coming young player but he has not arrived yet.Against S Korea, he could not even trap the ball. If it were a competitive match, the yellow he received would have been a red. I think we should bloody the experienced players with a few young ones. Jordan Ayew, for instance is the only one who can shoot on sight, so he may start. But if we want someone who can hustle the opposition defence, we go with Waris. Let's also not forget about Essien, experience counts.

The game has changed! Those days on incessant dribbling etc are really no more a part of the game. When refs see a player attempting to dribble like Maradona. They label you as selfish and won't even blow fouls in your favor. Secondly, the more you dribble, the more you allow the other team to recoup and defend. Kasa is a great player, but you need to plan for each team differently. Personally, I would prefer using kasa on the left wing especially against Portugal and germany. And use kasa as an 8 vs. Usa. Against usa, kasa can play behind kpb and gyan or dede/warris and gyan/jordan. Kasa experience as a dribble and shooter will torment the usa defence. However, versus Portugal and germany AA should use kasa on the left wing to use his speed on the wing against these experienced teams. Adomah must start on the right wing vs usa. He can play vs. Usa.

If you have Dede Ayew, Mutari, wakaso, Atsu who can all play those positions and score and you don't have a good left back then the best thing to do is to take Kwadwo Asamoah to the leftback to strengthen it. He should try Essien at the left back as well and if it works we would have an all round team. Remember you will meet Germany and Portugal so your defence must be strong and have good experience in the game.

I agree with you one thousand percent and I have being making postings on this particular subject for sometime now. Juventus started this none sense of using K Asamoah in the left back position and yes, because of his enormous class and potential, he excelled in that role for Juventus that is, but then K Appiah should definitely not have followed what Juventus did as the BS need a different approach play and not the ultra defensive approach that most Italian teams adopt. We need our best playmaker in the no 10 role to create and score from behind the two strikers. I however think it is too late to do that now as a sudden change in role for K Asamoah will prove to be a detraction and may affect the psyche of the team in general. Asamoah has not played this no 10 role for quite some time now, bringing him into that role in the last minute may not prove so wise. It is unfortunate but then we have to stick with what the team has been drilled to do throughout the qualifiers and in training camp. This matter ought to be redressed after the World Cup

K. Asamoah is an amazing left back, would be one of the best in the world and as such yes, it maybe an idea to put him back in the middle. That said, he could play left back for any team in the world.
